the gay people that I know don't use it but they are mostly under 25

in my day it was an insult

The homosexuals on TV use it all the time. They even have a TV show with that word as part of the title, as I recall. Very highly approved, it seems.

I think you were the only one who did. And to mr. Utah, you know from my previous conduct on this forum that I have never once said anything derogatory about gay people. I refer you back to the Kim Davis debates

The only thing I have against "Gay" people (not the "agenda"... I despise that hateful mess) is that they stole a word I grew up really liking, and ruined it.

I understand, however you would not post inflammatory racial slurs to prove a point in defense of Black Americans, thus you should not use the word, queer(s) regarding gay folk even though you are not actually criticizing them. I don't like double standards.
