Then may the JTB -- dare I speak his name? -- blesseth thee.
Does the Bible not say we are to bless one another?

Yet once again, you make mockery of a Biblical standard.

More evidence of the depth to which you have been deceived and drawn away from God's ways

The fact that people continue to bother reading, and reply to your posts actually shows a lot of patience and kindness.

You can't say people don't have love just because they disagree with what you say; particularly when they take the time to back it up, too.

I don't say they are without love because they disagree.

I say they are without love because their words are said with anger hate and intolerance.

And yes, the fact I keep trying to convince the willfully ignorant does show a lot of patience and kindness. Makes me wonder why I try (which I do because God tells me to).

How do you know that? Are you reading people's minds, or did God tell you that too?

I don't think you are trying very hard, though; because you keep posting the same meme-talk as evidence over and over again. I don't know of a single person that sees Trump as a prophet or spiritual leader of any kind. An ordained-by-god civil servant, yes; as much as any other Pharoah or king, or soldier, or mailman; but definitely not a prophet.

He himself, I am sure, knows that he is NOT a moral leader. Historically, he has supported abortion- yet he has set that aside, because he cannot afford to lose Christians. And as far as your other concerns go- We Trump supporters elected Trump because he is not a textbook republican that goes for abandoning the poor. With respect to immigrants; we do NOT have to welcome ALL immigrants, and if you believe that, I'm sorry but you're wrong. When God gave that commandment to Israel, you have to understand, that those foreigners would not be allowed to worship other Gods other than the God of Israel... so, I might agree that we should accept Christian immigrants, but that certainly cannot be codified under United States law.

You just dammed yourself in the eyes of the ultra-holy JTB... oops I spoke his great name again.

His/her posts have been so over the top ridiculous that now I just respond with sarcasm or mockery. The only other thing I could do is put him/her on ignore, and I may yet do that.

You ought to know, oh holiest of the holy. Tell me... will God be letting you sit on his throne any time soon?

Tell me which part of your post contains love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control

We will know them by their fruit.
This would be an incorrect application of scripture.

Where scripture is referring to "knowing someone by their fruit" it is speaking about the followers of false teachers.

If you think you can judge the fruits of the spirit of another person then you are placing yourself on a moral higher ground, do you think you have a moral higher ground from which you can look down upon other people and be a fruit inspector?

This applies to both false and true 'believers'. That's the point of the list, to help discern between those who are false and those who are true. If your actions agree with the items on the list, you are true. If they don't, you're false.

And why would God give us a checklist if He didn't intend for us to use it?

I have met many non-believers who would put believers to shame.

I prefer to not be a fruit inspector, doctrine of false teachers and their followers yes, but that is all.

Well I agree with you about many non-believers putting believers to shame. Especially these days

But how do you tell the false teachers and their followers from the true ones?

Scripture, good hermeneutics, research .....start with the big picture and work down to the details with the help of the Holy Spirit

JTB says stupid things and then doesn't want any blowback for it. Judge me as a false Christian all day long. I really don't care. His opinions are so... out there... his judgment is not something that gives me reason for concern.

The list of the fruit of the Holy Spirit IS scripture ... not sure why you discount it. That's like a pilot saying he doesn't need his aircraft checklist.

When your eyes count, I'll worry about it. I see no wisdom in your words. NONE. But, my eyes don't count either. So, God will correct us as He sees it. Until then, if I see the nonsense that you spew out, I'm going to call it out.
