You can't prove the earth is flat because the earth is round.
Prove the Earth is a sphere.

Don't say "because NASA says so" -- that is not proof.

"I promise you -- if you will set out to prove that the Earth is a sphere -- and, you are honest with yourself -- you will surely prove to yourself that the Earth is flat."

I know the earth is round because on the 7th day when God was resting, Chuck Norris grabbed both ends of the world and pulled them together.

But personally, i dont believe we have satalites... The reason is I live out in the middle of no where... My phone says I am on a satelite but if I am driving and go down A hill i lose all service until i get above thw last hill...
A satelite should beable to shoot directly down making hills a thing of the past...
Or, for some reason, New Mexico and Colorado hills are special And are able to block satelite waves....

Cell Phones out here are all acting liwke they are on towers, and we only get better service when a new tower goes up....
communications satellites can only transmit and receive vertically at your position if there is one directly over you...

most communications satellites are geosynchronous meaning that they orbit at the same angular speed that the earth rotates...which causes them to stay over the same point on the earth indefinitely... depending on your location the geosynchronous satellite associated with your service may be close enough to the horizon to be blocked by hills...

Correct. The frequencies required to reliably penetrate the ionosphere are very line of sight, with all the satellites that orbit, the vast majority of the earth is not covered.

Are there other planets in our solar system, or is that one of the lies perpetuated to sell us all on this round Earth paradigm? Are the images we receive from Hubble and other instruments likewise lies used to perpetuate this myth? How many people are "in on it", and why has nobody broken their silence? Surely there must be thousands upon thousands of people helping to sell this lie to the public, so how does the secret stay a secret?

If the earth was flat, why lie about it?

radio signals actually prove that the earth is round...specifically i am referring to 'moon bounce' communications that ambitious amateur radio operators have been doing since the 1950s...

signals that cannot reach distant locations due to the curvature of the earth can be bounced off of the moon when the moon is above the horizon as seen from both locations...

this shows that the earth's surface is curved without a doubt and that this curvature can block radio signals at frequencies that require line of sight...it is not merely a matter of distance because the 'moon bounce' signals actually have to travel twenty or more times further than the straight line distance between the transmitting and receiving stations on the earth...if the signal is simply not powerful enough to be heard from a distant location on the earth via direct line of sight then it -certainly- would not be powerful enough to go to the moon and back and -then- be heard...

Not at all, inferring the opposite. Common sense does not come from time spent in school, rather from time kicking cactus with your bare feet. At least that's how I obtain what little measure I have on board.
Perhaps I misread your statement in post #7...?

I agree with the idea you are putting forth in the quote above.

Perhaps a  at the end of your statement in post #7 would have helped?

another proof that the earth is a sphere is for anyone who travels...

at night you will see a different set of constellations from horizon to horizon depending on your latitude...from where i live i can see alpha centauri but if you go any further north you cannot see it because it is below the southern horizon there...also i cannot see the magellanic clouds but from further south you can see them...

this is due to the geometry of a curved earth and would not be observed on a flat earth...

This is cool, stars = suns? Maybe not:

It's just a personality quirk of mine, but I don't take YouTube videos seriously. They don't have enough rigor for me to accept them as valid sources of information. I base that on the fact that even a total weirdo like me is allowed to have YouTube channel, and I have all kinds of goofy stuff out in the public domain for consumption.

this is cool to watch...but it is just a highly magnified image of the 'twinkling' effect which is caused by atmospheric turbulence...

the color changes are due to the refraction of the starlight along the edges separating regions of different air density in the turbulent atmosphere...

I get that. We are in a place where software can seemingly a wrap a potato into a riddle. I'm the same.

It's just my thing. Going for my Masters hammered into my head the need for source information that is reliable. It's been further hammered these past few years as I've been futzing around with this PhD. I'll watch YouTube videos for entertainment, but I can't take them too seriously. Give me a peer-reviewed journal, and then we've got something to work with and from. All too often though, hypotheses are put forth and the only evidence the presenter can give is a YouTube video that is so poorly done from cobbling together other bad videos and wrapping it up as something new.

Tesla stated earth is not a planet. He was kinda smart. He called earth a system, like a machine and even noted the the firmament. I like my earth like I like my taxes, flat and biblical.
Source? Seems like you got that from the following misattributed Tesla quote, "Earth is a realm, it is not a planet. It is not an object, therefore, it has no edge. Earth would be more easily defined as a system environment. Earth is also a machine, it is a Tesla coil. The sun and moon are powered wirelessly with the electromagnetic field (the Aether). This field also suspends the celestial spheres with electo-magnetic levitation. Electromag levitation disproves gravity because the only force you need to counter is the electromagnetic force, not gravity. The stars are attached to the FIRMAMENT." It doesn't even sound like Tesla and he would never say something like, "Earth is also a machine, it is a Tesla coil." He may have lived while the aether model was still popular and did probably try to work out an electromagnetic theory of gravity, but the man wrote fluid brilliant prose, not this trash.

To the OP why not go for a square earth! I thought you might want a
bit of variety. :p

Revelation 7:1 NKJV
[1] After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding
the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
