This is the dream I had last night, it scared me half to death. I'm not asking for advice or a translator but I'm not going to turn it away either. Just be civil.

I don't remember how I got to this church but it was very small. It had dark purple walls that were velvety and the pulpit had a cloth carpet that went down the isle that was white with two red stripes on each side. It has candle holders and the church reminded me of a Catholic church. All of a sudden there was water and the entire thing was flooded, the pastor tried his hardest not to get his robes wet while everyone was practically soaked.

Everyone started looking outside to see what was going on, tons of people were standing around a large hole deep in the earth, paved over by concrete with a metal drain at the bottom that was massive. Yet people that were at the bottom wouldn't move and allowed themselves to be taken down the drain. I could see limbs poking out of the holes and countless women and children didn't do a thing. Many of the women were dark and had those cloths that cover their faces. Not saying that they were from the middle east, they all seemed American but were devoted to whatever told them to wear the cloths. And while I was watching the water began to fill that circular cylinder that was dug up and paved over and it almost over flowed again. Thousands of people began to swirl down the drain again and they were dead.

I admit, I was scared. I ran back into the church and the water began to rush back into the building again, so much that the furniture was floating and fish started to swim in. BIG fish. One of them nipped at my toes and I barley got away. I believe it was giant tuna and paranahs. Not everyone got away from those either. When the water receded again I wasted no time and grabbed my car keys and drove to warn everyone in the area. I called all my friends and family and told them what was happening. My mothers family and fiance were safe across the other side of the mountain range and told me to save everyone else.

My best friends mother, Bernie, is a catholic lady. She is the most loving, forgiving and best woman I have ever met(besides my mom). But she believes in horoscopes, idols and spirits being people who have passed, not demons at all. I had picked her up and she insisted that I took a dog she found into the car, I agreed to reluctantly and it took forever to get the giant German Shepard into the car. After I drove to a university where all the students where all on the grass/sport part of the school and they were partying, half-naked and drunk and ignoring me. One of them actually knocked me down when I tried to tell them that a flood was coming. Another student walked up to me when I was down and yelled at me that they don't want to hear that kind of stuff and ruin their good time...At first I was wide-eyed but a second later I picked myself back up, grabbed my keys and drove off. A few more people joined us in the car...which took forever...and I started driving for higher ground. Eventually I got everyone to a water amusement park at the top of the mountain and waited for the water to come. And then I woke up.

What are your thoughts?
Have you experienced dreams like these before?
Would you share?

I had an end time dream and I didn't find any one to translate it for me. Actually if you ask God and pray until he gives you it's meaning he will give you, as long as your faith is working. ~Take care of religious people~ and pray for your Church no matter what people convince you, don't stop praying for your Church and the Pastor of your Church.

I've had weird dreams too. I'm not sure how much you can read into them though.

Could have just been a dream. I have bizarre dreams too. These verses come to mind though:

[h=3]Matthew 24:37-39[/h]
[SUP]37 [/SUP]But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

[SUP]38 [/SUP]For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
[SUP]39 [/SUP]And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I hope you feel better now. :)

Have I experienced dreams LIKE these before? Sure, and I know and understand they can be terrifying, because when you're 'in' the dream everything seems so real. I also know that dreams are way of the brain to process information, that is: everything you know, experience and go through during the daytime. That info is processed in no particular order, dreams can be pretty random. However, your brain still tries to 'make sense' of everything that 'comes by,' it tries to make a 'story' out of the information processed. That's why don't think dreams have a particular meaning and have to be 'interpreted.'

You woke up with an uneasy feeling, that's understandable, and that feeling will probably linger for quite a while. Maybe it's a good idea not to dwell on the content of your dream for too long. Dreams are pretty random, nothing to be worried about. :)

Remember: even in our dreams God watches over us...

The color purple represent royalty and the white carpet represent the path. The candle-holders represent the Guides (candles help guide you through darkness and or to enlighten someone). The water represent purification and the church represent the Body. The German shepherd represent protection and which you use for protection is now you are protecting it. Amusement park represent a better place. To me it sound if God is telling you to trust in Him when He purifying your soul.

Interesting dream - its seems to have been about people getting washed away? Was that a good thing or a bad thing.

The reason I ask is that a while ago I had a few dreams about small groups of people in my church (including me). We were all in a school building and each small group was in a different classroom. Each of the classrooms was full of water and we were all bathing in it, not drowning, but the water was flowing over and seeping beneath the classroom doors.

It was not scary, it felt like we were getting washed clean and it was exciting and fun.

Maybe there are two groups of people, those who will be washed away and those who are washed in the blood of the lamb.

Yes, I've a few recent apocalyptic-type dreams, involving tsunamis, flooding, tornadoes, etc. As a Christian, I tend to relate my dreams to my spiritual self.

Yes, I do feel alot better. Thank you :] I agree that most of the time dreams are just dreams but that wasn't the case with Joseph. Remember? God gave the pharaoh these weird dreams that seemed to have no connection with anything, but it still bugged the Pharaoh and only Joseph was able to interpret it. Dreams are also apart of the spirit world too.

ive had similar dreams.i was in a charismatic church where a woman was preaching.she was moreso entertaining the congregation rather than preaching it seemed. The walls began crumbling down and there was dust and debris everywhere.i took off running but to my surprise everyone continued as if nothing was happening.in another dream I had I was balancing a building in my left hand,a pen in my mouth and a Bible in my right hand. The building collapsed and I was left with the pencil which I believe to mean prophecy and the Bible which is God in written form.It sounds to me like your dream is a warning about the catholic church and denominational churches too.The walls of the modern day church systems are coming down spiritually and they are being exposed for what they really are(many churches are a big money making business and they teach false doctrine)The behavior of the pastor shows these leaders are only concerned for themselves and are oblivious to the fact that their congregations are drowning.i also believe God may be showing you that he will use you to bring the lady you describe as Bernie OUT of the deception of the catholic church. You will be used to save others too but most will not listen because they have become lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God which is a major characteristic of the day we are living in.

God can communicate with people trough dreams, true, we know that from the Bible. However, He only did so when it REALLY mattered, when there really was something at stake, not at random.

Have you been reading Revelation lately because your dream really makes me think of this passage in scripture:

And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

(Revelation 12:15-17 NIV)

God bless.

That is very interesting indeed ! Because the first time dragons are mentioned is in Genesis 1: 21, in hebrew it's written taninim, which is the plural of tannin, and tannin means " dragon ". The ancient serpent who deceived Eve was the first ancestor of dragons, he is called Leviathan, and he is the one described in Revelation, he is real and not " symbolic ".
So, that dragon must be really big to be able to pour a river. And what is fascinating is to know that earth has a soul !
Very interesting indeed because it's written in the Scriptures that the Garden of Eden is hidden beneath the earth !

To answer the poster, it's certainly not "cerebral " dream as " scientists " would tell so, but it's a spiritual dream !
Your dream is fascinating as it clearly drew a very accurate big picture of the current spiritual state in most churches and in most of the world, and what will the Lord do about it !
The Lord's speaking to his children by dreams !
The Lord's giving prophetic warnings to his children by dreams !
That's wonderful, isn't it ?
