So you're "unbiased" source are Catholics?!
I'll hear arguments from anyone. These guys make a lot of sense to me. Have a listen. It won't hurt you. I promise. :)

I confess I came in at episode 2.

If you have an unbiased source, I'll have a listen. But I'm not about to ask the wolf to tell me about the sheep. ;)

Wolves are experts in how to serve the sheep. They know whether to include mint jelly, and whether you want mutton chops or little lamb chops.

Fair enough. But...
1. Everyone has a bias. I wouldn't trust anyone that claims to be unbiased. An "unbiased source" doesn't exist.
2. Be very careful that you're not subconsciously saying "This guy says stuff that I haven't heard before or I just disagree with, therefore he must be biased...and I can therefore dismiss what he says".
3. The people I used regard as sheep have turned out to be wolves.
4. With all that said...I highly recommend watching the video's. Just watch the first three. Super awesome. It's all just philosophy and how certain ideas developed. Totally fascinating. I highly doubt you'll go to hell for watching it.:D:cool:
5. If nothing else you'll learn a little bit about how those evil, evil traditional Catholics think!

Yes - deception in the church pulpit is rampant. It's the same principle they're using with public schools: they captured the education system and are injecting lies into the minds of youth. They have dumbed us down over generations and only someone who really struggles to learn the truth (the narrow way) will find out we've been fed lies.

There is still a lot I don't know but I know their modus operandi and we have to stay on our toes.

Thanks for the links - it's a lot and will take me awhile to get through them but I'm always looking for new sources.
Hey saintrose, I think you've got good instincts. At think at this point it your best rule of thumb is that any official narrative on any given subject is probably a lie. Check this media out and tell me if this is news to you. Why do you think you've never heard this side of the story? It's the same with this zionism issue. Pretty much every single protestant church buys into this Zionism. It's pretty hard to find much about the dark side of Scofield, much less about the people funding him. Lies are easy to find. Truth is more difficult.

1. Everyone has a bias. I wouldn't trust anyone that claims to be unbiased. An "unbiased source" doesn't exist.

But everyone doesn't have a bias that would look the other way as human beings were hauled off on trains to concentration camps. The pope did that.

2. Be very careful that you're not subconsciously saying "This guy says stuff that I haven't heard before or I just disagree with, therefore he must be biased...and I can therefore dismiss what he says".

If he doesn't have facts then all he has is opinion. Not that the Catholics didn't apologize the first time for their Antisemitism.

3. The people I used regard as sheep have turned out to be wolves.

Your opinion, which you are entitled to.

4. With all that said...I highly recommend watching the video's. Just watch the first three. Super awesome. It's all just philosophy and how certain ideas developed. Totally fascinating. I highly doubt you'll go to hell for watching it.:D:cool:

I've studied quite a bit about what the Catholics think actually. I disagree with a lot of it. I don't consider them evil, some of the good ol' boys at the top maybe. Have Catholic friends. But as I said, I don't expect the wolf to tell me about the sheep. Catholics have a long history of antisemitism, so I don't expect to hear anything different.

About the videos - I don't even think there's anything about jews in them. At least not in the ones I've watched so far. I posted that series for @saintrose to show her that the rabbithole she's noticed goes a bit deeper than she might have anticipated. Some might say there's no relationship at all. But I think there is.

The term "rapture" is not in the Bible.

However, Harpazo is in the Bible, rescue is in the Bible, Having the Father send Eleazar to find a bride and taking Rebecca to Isaac is in the Bible. The story of Noah is in the Bible. The story of Enoch being raptured is in the Bible. The story of Elijah being raptured is in the Bible. The resurrection is in the Bible. Following the path Jesus led is in the Bible. Being changed in the twinkling of an eye is in the Bible. The man child being caught up to heaven is in the Bible. Lot being rescued is in the Bible. Two are in the field or in a bed, one is taken the other left is in the Bible. The dead in Christ rise first is in the Bible. You lose credibility trying to scam people with this pathetic argument that "rapture" is not in the Bible inferring that the doctrine of the believers being caught up to the Lord is not in the Bible. We use other non Biblical words to describe Biblical doctrines: Triune, Trinity, imminence, etc.

Then you use another non Biblical term "zionism". Too vague, there are many different definitions. What is in the Bible is the Bible. The Old Testament is a covenant God made with Abraham, that covenant will be kept. Every man may be a liar but God will be shown to be true and faithful.
Yes all these things are in the Bible. Its how they are understood and interpreted that matters.

Good post.

I have been learning/studying about 'Zionism/Zionists'..
- For many years.
Do you believe the pastors teaching it are just deceived or actually false teachers? I wonder if that's the 'doctrines of demons' Scripture refers to.

The word rapture just means the catching up of those alive at the time of the resurrection but the timing is debated forever it seems
I read about Paul's choice of words meaning 'catching up' - I just don't know if that's how he meant it. When you look up Scofield you learn some unsavory things.

They are deceived.

I understand you didn't like my reaction to your post, but it's a tad immature for you to go back and give the thumbs down reaction to every post I wrote. There is plenty of evidence in the Bible for the rapture, or taking away. You don't want to believe what's in front of you, fine, but be ready either way. And please don't use emojis as retaliation.

Mature people can disagree without arguing. I have all kinds of friends here I disagree with and still consider them friends.

Do you think there are rules at CC where no one can react to your post unless you are speaking directly to them? I can assure you there are no such rules.

Yeah, if you're not mature enough to discuss and disagree and still be friends then you need to block me. I've never seen such an age where people are so breakable and fragile that they can't take anyone having a different view from theirs. But by all means, if you can't handle it, put me on ignore. I'd far rather that then you chasing me around the forum thumbing down my posts. smh You have yourself a good day.

I'm not arguing, I'm answering your post. You don't have to respond this very second. If you can't take people disagreeing with your POV you're in the wrong place. Nothing more to say here.

The ingrafting of the gentiles

Romans 11: 17-24

Now if some branches have been broken off, and you (gentiles), a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either.

Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
