We have good news and bad news.
The Good news -- We have major advances in AI. Since 2010 when Watson was able to win at Jeopardy and since we rolled out Siri, Alexa, and other services the ability of AI to understand people's questions regardless of their accent and answer them has improved exponentially. Also since AlphaGo was able to program itself and teach itself how to play Go in 2016 AI has proved that it can tackle the really difficult problems at levels better than the best experts in the world. This is going to replace Accountants, CPAs, Lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc. The savings are going to be amazing. Across the board, computers can answer the phone, answer any question you have, fill your order, and even ship it to you on a remote control drone with your address programmed in. Robots can manufacture anything you need as well as 3d printers, they can handle everything involved in the business. Also they are far less expensive, AI can work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for a fraction of the cost.
The Bad news -- Your services are no longer required. They will offer you a "base pay" that covers all your living expenses. This is basically a list of the "useless eaters" that they will exterminate. Sorry about that. (I know it seems impossible, how could they track down everyone? They will inject you with a biometric tracking device. Then they can identify anyone walking around without this mark and arrest them. So don't worry, they have thought this thru. Let's call it the revenge of the nerds).
Anyway, don't focus on the bad, rather rejoice in this monumental achievement that we have made towards making the world sustainable. They have finally figured out how to eliminate pollution. The pollution comes from people, get rid of the people and the problem is solved.
