I think we are all awake. Anyone who seems to refuse to "wake up" at this point has made their choice. Those on this forum are for the most part just trolls. Look at when they joined -- this week, this month, this year. It is all during the campaign. With AI it is easy for them to created trolls that will post garbage. It is just like this ad from Kamala saying "I know you don't want Donald Trump to be president". They think if they say it enough they'll brainwash enough people.

It was 9/11 that set the course for my education, and transformational grasp for Irregular Warfare…
I ended up initiating an OSD joint test and evaluation program call Joint Integration and Interoperability with Special Operations… that was co sponsored by the US Marine Corps and Special Operations Command..
I became the lead Analyst for that 3 year project which became my twilight tour, allowing me to retire from active duty out of US SOCOM…

I tend to somewhat agree with @gb9 on this topic…. Lots of people are still seemingly oblivious…
I know plenty of folks, colleagues, younger brother, and family members on both sides of the political parties who are just so busy living their lives and professional careers and just have their heads buried in the sand with a complete blind spot to the existence or understanding of the Deep State….
IMHO, it will take these folks having to reach their precipice (until these events actually affects their lives directly) via the anticipated scare event (WWIII proxy war, Civil War and or Cyber Warfare) before they actually wake up..
I know plenty of folks, colleagues, younger brother, and family members on both sides of the political parties who are just so busy living their lives and professional careers and just have their heads buried in the sand with a complete blind spot to the existence or understanding of the Deep State….
IMHO, it will take these folks having to reach their precipice (until these events actually affects their lives directly) via the anticipated scare event (WWIII proxy war, Civil War and or Cyber Warfare) before they actually wake up..

That announcement the day before the three buildings came down with two jets got my attention. There were many more things that happened which led me to believe it was way above anyone's pay grade who worked there.
Your duty during that war is very interesting and sounds like it's worthy of a book. Thank you for sharing that with me. The Marines have the longest military legacy if I recall US military history right. You have certainly been a proud part of this end of it.

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, expressed confidence that Vice President Kamala Harris will be an easy opponent in the 2024 election, criticizing her record as President Biden’s border czar and her previous failed presidential campaign.
During a press call, Trump highlighted the influx of migrants under Harris’s oversight and referred to her as “politically weak,” citing her poor performance in the 2020 primaries where she dropped out before the Iowa caucus.
“She ran for president, and she failed badly. She never even made it to Iowa,” Trump said.
“She started off, she had little name value, from a large place, as you know, from California, and she had a little name value. The name value didn’t last long because she ended up dropping like a rock as people got to know her. She was decimated in debates by Tulsi, who I know really hit her hard, and others hit her hard. She was decimated in the debates.”
“She was, by far, the nastiest to Joe Biden, and that’s why I was surprised that he took her. There was nobody nastier than her,” Trump added.
“She played the race card at a level that you rarely see. She really was very nasty to him, and then he picked her — so I don’t get that exactly. Now they act like they’re great friends, but you don’t really recover from that. I wouldn’t recover easily from that. I wouldn’t have picked her.”
He characterized her as “much more radical” than Biden and criticized her policies, suggesting that her campaign style would lead to similar failures as before.
“I think she is going to be, hopefully, frankly for this country, I think similar things are going to happen to her that happened to her before,” Trump said. “She’s been on the big stage. She has started off at a high level for false reasons since nobody really knew who she was. And, within a period of four weeks, or five or six weeks in, she was decimated and never made it to Iowa — the first state — and never even came close to me. She went down to practically zero. So, if she campaigns that way now, and this is only going to be tougher — although she does have a lot of support from the fake news, there’s no question about that — but if she campaigns the way she campaigned then, I suspect she won’t be too tough.”
“She’s the same as Biden but much more radical,” Trump added. “This country doesn’t want a radical left person to destroy it. She’s far more open borders than he is. She wants things that nobody wants. You take a look at the car mandate — the electric car mandate, everything. Take a look at San Francisco now compared to before she became the district attorney, and you see what she’ll do to our country. I think she’ll be easier than Biden because he was slightly more mainstream but not by much.”
Trump indicated he would be willing to debate Harris, although it remains unclear if such a debate will occur.
