Ok so. To clarify something here, this thread's task is not to be alarmist.
But I'm strongly considering doing at least some basic prepping, whether or not pre trib or mid or post are a thing. Because even in the event of pre trib, we still have to survive until we get there. And the other two scenarios are... well.
You get the idea.

I do not have the luxury of getting off grid options. Mostly because I'd still have to work. I do not have passive income, retirement accounts or such as I am not at that stage in life, nor do I own my own business.

Just a normal rank and file work at home tele marketer at the end of the day.

So I'm thinking, bare minimums. Outfit the vehicle with some emergency rations/bugout bag, basically camping gear?
Supplemental self defense equipment... enough water for a few weeks, but keep that on hand in the house and carry to car?

Kinda new to this, so I don't want to get overloaded. But things are at the point where even if we're pre trib, this nation might still be in trouble and I want to be able to get a solid start at least and have a fighting chance out the gate if it collapses.

And on a side note, I do not care which of the 3 rapture theories is "true" so let's just not even get into that debate.
Does anyone have any constructive suggestions for someone just getting started for prepping?
