wrong you are, because he will be against God from the beginning, blaspheming his name straight out, nothing sneaky about it. calling himself the real God.He will definitely be an atheist from start to finish. ,because he hates God. The dragon, known as Satan will give him power to rule over nations.

When the 7th trumpet sounds and the voices of heaven announce the second coming, that's something EVERYONE will be aware of.

Dear pckts

Though I studied in depth about the end times I was really not sure when the rapture would be.

I was open for anything pre ,mid or post Tribulation Rapture but I just wanted to know so that I can be prepared for that.

When I was not able to figure it out myself I asked God to show me when the rapture would be.
God just led me to read Luke 17:26-36 and Mark 13: 14-16

And showed me how just after the abomination sits in the holy place there are the verses which says
" he who is on the house top do not come down and he who is in the field do not go back"

Those words describe the Rapture as explained in Luke 17:26-36

2 Thess 2:3 says:
That day will not come unless the man of sin is revealed

Once the man of sin is revealed that day will come.

Recently I read somewhere that the Revelation 12 sign is so placed right after the 11th chapter.
Revelation has 22 chapters and this sign is found in the middle of Revelation.

The catching up of the man child of Revelation 12 is the rapture and it occurs in the mid Tribulation Period.

Though the events are not chronologically placed in Revelation, its presence right in the middle may be a pointer.

Irrelevant. The first seal is not opened until we are where we belong with our bridegroom.

See:

Time of Perplexity Informed Christians
I made a couple posts that made more than just this one point, it's not "irrelevant" because these events precede the events self-described as the wrath. You have made up your mind that you won't be around when bad things happen and you won't hear anything else. We're done here.

[E.g. Pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib] I just wanted to know so that I can be prepared for that...
We don't prepare by stocking up on: gold, guns and groceries.
Read chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation.
You don't have to make it to chapter 4.

The Great Tribulation is the wrath of God.
No, it is not.

Jesus is not a wife-beater.
True; however, Satan is more than happy to beat His wife - and rape her - and kill her, too!

The wrath of the Lamb is not for the bride. 1 Thess 5:9
True; however, the 'seals' and 'trumpets' do not represent the 'Wrath of God' -- only the 'vials' do.

I hope you aren't placing the rapture before everything bad, ONLY because you think "Jesus wouldn't do that".
I think a lot of people do this without realizing it.

The Bible is where we should discern what God is going to do, not what we think.
And - those people need to get past their fears and pay more attention to what the Bible actually says.

Am I the only person here who honestly wonders how some of these posters even find their way home from the grocery store on their own?

Daniels 70th week is divided into two major parts. The first part is dominated by the rise of the Antichrist and his persecution of the Church -

Rev 13: 7- 10 KJV

And it was given unto him to make to make war with the Saints and to overcome them
and power was given him over all kindreds and tongues and nations. And all that dwell upon
the earth shall worship him whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear let him hear. He that
leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity. He that killeth with the sword must be killed
with the sword. Here is the patience of the saints.

The first part of the 70th week features the wrath of Satan against the church not the wrath of God
The rapture happens at the seventh trumpet just before the first of the seven Bowls of Gods wrath
are poured out. It is marked by the Sun and Moon going dark and the stars falling from heaven. This period is called
the Great Tribulation or The Day of the Lord. See Matthew 24 and the book of Joel.

I understand where you are coming from I remember in 2012 with the Mayan calander ending everyone freaked out and stocked up for the apocalypse I just shook my head and then of course came the 2016 september 23rd and now this. However This time this event has my interest as it is not merely mans imagination but is scripture coming to life in the night sky with incredible accuracy

Someone else goes for them. Probably the same person who posts their comments.

The "rapture" is false doctrine and a red herring.
What does this mean, according to you?

... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
~ 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Take it up with the apostle Paul (1 Thess. 4:16, 17).

Let me ask it this way...
