Maybe your point is relevant to Adam and the time before sin came to dominate mankind...But the New Testament principal of flesh and spirit is based upon us having received a new and perfect spirit...

And many of us are not blinded by our flesh but walk in the spirit.

Im not trying to dis your thread or your thoughts...just thought New Testament understanding should be brought into the picture. :)
That's cool, I appreciate your insight. I am not proclaiming I have found the truth I just like to analyse things.

There are pieces in the puzzle of creation that will always be too hard to comprehend and I don't know if anyone should proclaim they have it all sussed.

Perhaps you could take this concept and relate it to what Jesus did for us. Would add another element of how amazing Gods love is for us. Even though we destroyed our spirit, God is graceful enough to give us a second shot at it.

I believe Jesus has pathed the way for all to know God. He is the grace of God. I don't believe the Grace of God is limited to the walls of Christianity. God draws ALL people to Him. All people are victims of our upbringing which includes you and me. Hypothetically if we were born in a strict Islamic state under a strict Muslim traditional family there is little chance that we will give Christianity the time of day. But our heart on the other hand may be crying out for the truth and God. God searches the world for HEARTS that love him.
i think there are other paths. i never got why so many Christians believe everyone outside Christianity is going to hell. but this concept changes alot now you have Catholics and other Christian religions in there.

Sure all religions will lead you to God but only one religion will lead you to eternal life.
quote above is a perfect example. Jesus was asked about this same thing and he answered love, love your Father and fellow man . . . notice how he never mentioned a specific religious denomination to enjoy the eternal kingdom.

i have thought about this for much of my life. i always wondered about my native american ancesters, are they all in hell because they were born outside the Christian world where they had no chance to read a bible or hear about Jesus? our Lord does not create people just to send them to hell.

Well one of the Old Testament prophecies that comes to mind and is clearly a reference to the New Birth is this one...

Eze 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

It seems clear to me that even the "spirit" of man had became defiled by sin...

There is only one Christian religion, there are many Christian denominations. Also, God has made Himself and His truth known to all people, for all time. It's in the Bible.
