Too little too late? And the US no longer has "elections" the old fashioned constitutional way. More like "selections".
So RFK may be out of the game before it even starts.
There is no way to save the dollar, it's demise is already baked in.
1. These countries are fully committed to BRICS they aren't going to renounce that. They have been working on this since 2008.
2. The spending bills by the US are out of control and if you stay on the dollar you have to help pay for that inflation.
3. We have to finance $1 trillion in interest payments each year at a time when no one is buying, everyone is selling our debt. The only way to do that is to raise interest rates and doing that could make our interest payments $1.5 or even $2 trillion. The money isn't there and if they go to the printing press then everyone will ditch the dollar like throwing an anchor overboard.
4. Countries will do what is best for them. True, China doesn't want to lose the US as a customer, but if they are broke you have to move on. In exchange if you can get Taiwan and the US farmland then that will be a fair trade for them.
