NGL, I'm tired and currently stuck in the paradox of wanting to sleep but being too tired to sleep. So I thought, why not just roll with something random. Even better, why don't we see how far we can carry this? Can we weaponize conspiracy theories against ourselves and go so far that we start finding evidence to support the flat sun theory? Is there a bright side and a dark side? Is it not just a government planted satellite shining high tech cancer rays? Is the treacherous platypus somehow involved?

This is a joke post obviously, but why not have a fun conspiracy for once?
You left out something. The sunspots last weekend made the northern lights creep so far south that we could see them here in the South.

THE END OF TIME IS HERE!!! When the northern lights go south, the end of days is upon us! The flat sun has foretold it! The platypus himself cannot stop either the signs or the end coming!

The platypus and sun are obviously trying to destroy us for figuring out their secrets!

Nope, you wrong sister, the Northern Lights were visible during the Battle of Fredericksburg in the Civil War.

They can be natural. They can also be man-made. In this instance, I've heard it's the latter.

ok, These are from a huge solar flair event that is very well documented, I really doubt the veracity of any claim that they are man made.
we really are in the last of the last .
Best wishes sister.

Pancakes are round. One can start at the top, and travel all the way around in a clockwise direction until one ends at the top again!   Or even widdershins, if one is that way inclined.

Yo Mo, nice hat.

Pancakes are not round when my brother cooks them. He's not very good at the whole not-making-them-stick thing.

So according to flat sun beliefs, the moon also gives its own light?
This ain't my farce so what I am about to say may be retconned at any time by the initiator of this thread.

The moon is an evil platypus trick. Platypus tries to imitate the sun, but is too feeble to make an imitation nearly as bright. Platypus can't even make the imitation consistently, because some nights his trick moon light is not visible.

I see you too know the truth. Let not the platypus deceive you. If you look close enough with squinted and blurry eyes you can even see the face of a platypus on the moon. Coincidence?

Wham, it's 3:33am and that hit the spot lol. I'll admit that conspiracy theories are rarely humorous and this was most unexpected.

...good note to sleep on ;)

Half Sphere Solar Sun believers are gonna be gnashing their teeth, after hearing this solar conspiracy. You won't hear the end of this. Platypus or no platypus, this is soviet style misinformation.

Release the killer manatees!!!

If it is flat it rotates on its axis once every 365.25 days.
Otherwise it would disappear twice each year as we circumnavigate it.
