hey buddy why is it in this scenario that sunlight is incapable of reaching from one side of the earth to the other - only a few thousand miles - but the light from other stars, millions & billions of miles away, has no problem reaching us?

Stars are not millions and billion of miles away.

another super-simple way to prove that this is nonsense is to see the moon during daylight.
not only does this make lunar phases impossible - which we have all seen - but it makes a visible moon during daylight hours impossible, which we have all also seen.
so.. like, why do help propagate such obvious rubbish?

well they'd have to be closer than the sun for this .gif to be possible, otherwise their light could not reach us, according to the false optics you have to adopt to persist in this nonsense. would have to be less than half the distance of the Earth's diameter. so they must be quite tiny, and quite close - closer than the sun. and in that case, why do they never ever ever eclipse the sun or moon? show me a picture of a star in-between the moon or sun and us
