What I can't figgure out is why we are getting caught up in the worlds foolishness?

I mean we all know that every one is a human being, deserving of dignity and respect, Why are we arguing over the names and classifications?

I am sure there is, I just don't know anyone personally,
So who on earth is Louis Farrakhan? So basically the New Black Panther Party is
the black equivelent to the Ku Klux Klan?
How is the Black Panther Party equivelent to the Ku Klux Klan? It isn't.

The key phrase to your statements is, "I just don't know".

To that I agree.

No, the KKK was formed for political reasons initially. The back supremacists are the same flavor of racial hatred and black militant supremacy that the white supremacist movement is.
Farrakhan is a black nationalist and the former head of the black Muslims. The same bunch Malcolm X was member of till he found out on a Hajj (pilgrimage) to Mecca that Islam is not black supremacist.

This is Louis F. Duck Duck Go links

Typical propaganda. I'm sure you get your historical views from movies. That is deep stuff. Do yourself a favor and do a little research instead of looking at pictures.

Great title for a book though.

Well, that proves you didn't watch the video. :giggle:
Thanks for not trying to say I lied about your racist admission. You put Preacher4Truth in his place but good. Thanks for that.

I did watch most of it. As I said, typical propaganda.... Quantrill was a murderer, wasn't really a Confederate, etc. etc. Same old lies.

Do yourself a favor and do a little research. History is a movement of events. Lawrence Kansas massacre didn't happen out of the blue. There were reasons, things that had gone before.

What makes a racist?

Well parents, people of influence and society does.

Incidentally when people talk about racism, they often mean colourism.
Put several white people together of different countries and most would not
blink an eyelid. Put several people together who were born in the same country
and brought up with the same cultural but who are different colours, that’s when
issues start.

There is true racism, an example would be Africa where different tribes rise up
against other tribes, although a lot of true racism is due to religion and politics.
Rwanda for example or the holocaust.

This is an interesting acticle, a bit long but it ends with the following.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/developing-minds/201304/are-kids-racist

So how do we get our kids to be non-racist if avoiding talking about it is not the solution?
Well one thing’s for sure—your kids pay attention to who is around them and who you spend
your time with. Bigler’s storybook study mentioned above finds that the 4-5 year old children
of parents who have more diverse friends show less racial bias than the children of parents
who have less diverse friends.

What is more, a study done by Bar-Haim and colleagues in 2006, showed that growing up
in a multi-racial environment versus a mono-racial one produced differences in race-based
responding in children only 3-months of age! This and other work suggests that one clear
thing parents can do is to not just talk about race and challenge children’s assumptions,
but model through their own behavior, the importance of interracial interactions and
relationships.

And isn't that what they are wanting to do concerning neutral gender? Teach the kids early that there is no real such thing as 'gender'.
Sure, you can teach a kid anything.

Two completely different things entirely, nothing to do with this conversation.
But to bring a biblical perspective....

Exodus 22:21 NKJV
[21] "You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers
in the land of Egypt.

Genesis 5:2 NKJV
[2] He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind
in the day they were created.

I don't think it is all that different. Race exists whether we don't want it to or not. God created the nations and races of man so as to divide the people. It slows down wickedness. Instead of obeying those divisions that God has given, man wants to constantly ignore them and bridge them and unite. What is the result? Wickedness multiplies. So, teaching that there is no such thing as 'race' and that it plays no role in how a people live, is ignoring what God has done. Just like trying to teach kids to ignore your gender. Like God didn't know what He was doing.

(Ex. 22:21) does not cancel (Lev. 25:45-46) "Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn amon you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with vigour."

In other words, even though the stranger and foreigner would be slaves, they were not to be mistreated.

While I do not believe that racism is as wide spread as the media and politicians would have us believe, it is out there.
In my opinion it is the result of man allowing the sin nature to control his thoughts and emotions instead of the Holy Spirit.
So one might say a racist is someone who is out of fellowship with God and living a carnal life.

It is more and more apparent you didn't watch the video and haven't done your own research. Crying, "PROPAGANDA!" Isn't truth, it's a myth when it comes to William Clarke Quanrill and that shows you haven't done your research. People that know Civil War history know your not to be taken seriously.

When you say there's a reason for the Kansas massacre, well....

I told you I watched most of the video, and there was no need to watch anymore as I could see the same old propaganda being presented.

Well what? If you're scared, say you're scared.

You need to understand right off the bat, that the victors of wars write the history of wars. Do you agree? What you and others have been inundated with is the yankees view of the War between the States. Falsely so-called 'the Civil War'. This is the view you apparently are taking.

The Southern people were quite capable of writing their history in that war. And many did. They did so because they could tell at the end, when they were defeated, the yankees were already writing lies about them. And why wouldn't the yankees write lies about them after the war since they lied about the Southernors before the war.

Of 'source material' concerning Quantrill and his men, I know of only one. That is John McCorkle who was Quantrill's scout. You do understand the value of 'source material' don't you? You can still obtain the book that was based on his memoirs. It is called
'Three years with Quantrill'. Another book, which I hinted at earlier, is 'The Devil Knows How To Ride" by Edward E. Leslie'. This book is not 'source material' but the author does a very good job at presenting the facts. I don't agree with much of his opinions, but he is honest to the facts that I can see. He is biased against Quantrill. That I don't mind as long as he is true to the facts.

I will state briefly the reason for the Lawrence massacre. The yankees had burned out and killed many Southern families in the Kansas/Missouri border area. They took many of the old men and all the women prisoner. They had several of Quantrill's mens sisters and wives locked up. Some were just young girls. They were locked up in a multi-level building. Once they knew who these women were, they began destroying the foundation above these cells that held the women. Eventually the story above collapsed and the women were all killed. One girl about 10 was heard crying for help for many hours. She said, 'someone come and get these bricks off of me'. No one did. They just let her die.

How would you feel?

The leader of those who was in charge of the yankees that did this was from Lawrence Kansas. This is the reason for the massacre. But of course, you are never told that...are you? You are just told of those evil Southern murderers.

If you want me to document it in the books I have presented, I will. This is just a brief statement.

So, well what?

Was the Jew a racist for wanting to keep his people Jewish? Or, was he following a command of God? Is God a racist who made the races?

Israel was to separate himself because of the ungodly idol worship of the nations around them.
Any who accepted the God of Abraham were integrated into Israel as Rahab and here family were.
To judge a person as less than you based on race only is being a racist and anyone who does so is out of fellowship with God.

I have to disagree to a point. There are Christians who have used racist terms. Doesn't mean out of fellowship with God and living a carnal life
