Yeah yeah, we're resourceful, but our trusty Jeepneys have been around for a couple centuries. We should start making blueprints for more comfortable methods of transportation. -__-

Something with air conditioning. ^._.^
How could you care about air conditioning when you're riding in style?

Oh Taylor, you are correct! Needs the Air Conditioning for sure! Only I can think if they can afford, they can buy brand new vehicles WITH AC. Older model may have burned out AC motor or was stolen or taken out. I know someone's vehicle in Central America has no AC because it was taken out and re-modified for cooling for engine system he invented for very hot 100 degrees (over 37c) days of driving.

indeed and it will be more fun if you live in PHL.

It's More Fun in the Philippines :D
It MUST be more fun in the Philippines!
There's lots of traffic where I live,
but traffic in the Philippines looks like a party!
:)

It must be the only place in the world where you look forward to getting stuck in traffic.
:)

It can be a crazy place Maxwel and God help you if you don't speak the language. But what I like about the Philippines the most are the Filipinos. Of course, you get a mixed bag wherever you go but I have nothing but good memories of the Filipino people in general that started at 18 years of age in the U.S. military. I found them in general to be a good hearted hard working people that were pleasant to be around and associate with.

I'm sure that in the Philippines, like everywhere else, new laws or regulations can often go very badly... for everyone except the politicians, lol.

I think I read some companies are developing some new electric vehicles, for transportation in the Philippines.

That's probably fine unless the government gets involved.
What usually happens is that some politicians get bought-off by the company (or maybe even have stock in the company) and then they pass all kinds of laws FORCING this new company onto the public, so everyone has no choice but to use the new company and the new product (electric vehicles).

This is pretty much how things work everywhere.
It's corrupt, but that's just the world we live in.

Max, I know. It is happening the same here for anything.. they are trying to get rid of Tesla cars because Elon Musk is very smart business man but also he has no dealerships! Dealers complain about Elon Musk trying to take business from the dealers. Remember the old GM EV cars? It was all political that they took all of the EV cars and crush them to junk. It is a fact! Oil companies are also to be blamed for both situations.

I can go on and on with other stuff. Joe Hunt was correct in 1980 that he said, "Tomorrow, businesses will rule the world!" He meant that businesses will have power and influences over politicians with lobbying and with politicians owning stocks as well which can influence businesses.

One perfect example: Insurance companies were the real culprit for pushing the passage of Obamacareless as I call it.

I heard you can ride these back and forth to work!

They're environmentally friendly, just like an electric jeepney...
but they don't accelerate very well!
