I have notied that anytime any idea becomes the center of thinking, when it is carried to extremes it is wrong. Our God seems to have a center of balance. Law and Grace must be balanced, legalism and obedience, Sabbath and love.
It is the same with understanding God's way for women. When men use God's instructions to say women are inferior, or their work isn't as important as theirs, or to obey them or else it is going too far. If women say their rights mean they don't have responsibility for the work of being a teammate in a marriage, or that they are more important, they are going too far.
As the approved ways of the world we live in get further from God's ways, it becomes harder for women to manage to do their work. They are deserted, they use sex in the wrong way and have children from that, most men and women haven't a clue about what marriage is all about, or even about working in partnership. So even the corrections become unbalanced.
