Rock and metal were definitely the big things in the 90's. I went to highschool in the very early 2000's when rapcore got really big, there were a lot of rapcore bands, but they still were all kind of separate from each other....at least the good ones. Then at some point everyone just got into rap...weird
Lord spare them!

That has nothing to do with a lack of originality.
How so? If you change your band's sound, completely, to a genre such as pop, how is that NOT dealing with a lack of originality? Pop has no originality right?

then don't listen to it. and move on with your life.
by the way, 'look just like the world' is a joke statement. what does a christian look like exactly? oh yeah, that's right, just like everyone else. so let me know when you stop 'looking like the world' and start 'looking christian'.
Are all your clothes made by christians, through christian companies, with bold christian logos? or do you buy your clothes at walmart, the mall, or even a thrift store? secular clothing made my non-christians?
how about your hair? is it cut christian? do you have jesus name shaved into your head? is it cut by christians in a christian salon, or barber shop? or do non-christians, in a non-christian business give you a hair cut similar to all the other non-christians?
see how stupid it sounds when you apply the concept to reality, instead of just throwing 'look like the world' around in some psuedo-spiritual statement in an attempt to make your point? that statement proves nothing, supports no argument and sounds ridiculous because when you actually apply it, just like i did, you realize it's not a feasible concept. all christians 'look like the world', because there is no such things as a 'christian look'. it just doesn't make sense.

but what does make sense is that we are all created by God with different tastes, and interests. and that people show this in the various choices they make. you're stating nothing more than pure opinion, with no scriptural backing. and the one weak attempt you try to use, doesn't apply. 'looking like the world' has to do with actions and heart intentions, not dress codes.

and before you come into this thread and insult people with biased comments with no foundation, think of it like this... how would you like it if i told you.... wow, another know it all teenager with no clue and no respect? i constantly see 15 year olds on this site think they know everything, act cocky, and often disrespectful to others. yet you don't see me going into the teens section talking crap like that do you?
so stop being judgmental and attacking. this isn't a debate thread, there are 100 other threads you can go slam other christians in, so feel free to go there to do that, instead.
