He made the choice to commit adultery. It's not unusual for religious based organizations to frown on affairs that can put your job at risk. He knew the conditions of his employment and he could have run off with the Florida woman and faced the risk of losing his job, but instead he killed his wife and two young sons. He did have a choice and made a horrible one, and because of it 3 innocent people are dead. There's no one to blame but himself.

Oh I agree, no ones fault but himself. What I was saying is that in his distorted mind he felt that there was no way he could live with his new woman and still hold his job at JM's. So he killed. This community I live in was really shook up by it. His brother doesn't even talk about it.
IMO I honestly believe that work place and personal life shouldn't intertwine. but that's just me.

I'm not naive. I'm not under any mans thumb. I'm not blindly following any man. I'm not under duress waiting for someone to save me from the evil clutches of mans "traditions". I think you have the wrong idea about me.
I study my bible just like everyone else. I look up words and traditions just like everyone else. And I find in the bible that their is scripture saying how a woman should be, so I follow it.
GOD wont allow anything in HIS HOLY word even if it came out of Paul's mouth (which I call anointing not opinion) and it was said not for a woman to be over man. I'm cool with that.

And you go girl, excellent, no problem to each his own, I am not here to bash you, and am glad to hear back yuor response to yuor freedon for that is what god came to do was free us from, stress, worry, anxiety, anger, depression and I am elated that you got this

Scripture makes it clear that a woman is not permitted to have authority over a man. That is not taken out of context that is what it says. Women can teach women, but out of respect and honor for authority they are not to teach men. Yes, God has used women to teach men, but only because there were no Godly men willing to be used by God at that time. It is to mans shame when God uses a women to teach Him, because scripture makes it clear that man is the head of woman. It is not meant to be the other way around. Let the word speak for itself....

1 Corinthians 11:3
But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

Chris Coleman killed his kids and wife because of Joyce Meyers' ministry? No, that's crazy to think that. Christ Coleman killed his wife and kids because he fell in love with a woman and was a PSYCHO that remained undiagnosed until it was too late
Blaming Christ Coleman's work with his personal choice is just wrong.

Exactly. In a perfect ministry, I think, a wife is RIGHT THERE next to the husband, encouraging him, helping him with his ministry, OCCASSIONALLY even, SPEAKING to the whole congregation of the church that that pastor is shepherd of His flock. Remember, the 'shepherd' guides, the flock's well-doing does NOT belong to the shepherd, although the shepherd SHOULD be tethered to their well-being wanting to know Him and help His flock that he guides STAY on the right path, that shepherd (pastor of a church) has NO authority over that church. None. ALL power is to Lord God Christ Almighty

I don't agree with that. everytime I try and help my hisband with my wonderful wisdom, I end up sticking my foot in my mouth... lol

Who says the error is on your end? Maybe the problem is that your husband is not as wise as Adam was before the fall?

I certainly don't know, so I can't contradict you. Communcation in a marriage is much too complex for any outsider to have an opinion any more valid than "is it maybe like this".

I am saying Adam was wise enough to listen to Eve and let her help him when God first introduced the two. Sin probably interfered with this wisdom (it interfered with everything else), and this is part of the reason why a given couple might be having trouble relating now. It could be either spouse's fault.

I find it ironic when people turn to scripture to make a point, and the scripture
they turn to kinda argues against the point they are trying to make:

It does not argue against it. My point is that before the fall, Adam was wise enough to listen to Eve on most things, just not wise enough not to listen on this one. After the fall, he would still not be wise enough not to listen on this one, but he would not be wise enough to listen to her on other things either. Net reduction in wisdom.
