Why are so many women attracted to jerks?

Ummm...maybe I'm just reading into things,but this is the 2nd post I've seen by you today (one from another thread) in which you seem to put down your spouse. I don't get it..or am I reading you wrong??? I apologize if I am. If you are upset with him or the way your marriage is going I don't see how making little jabs at him on a christian forum is helpful. maybe you guys can go for some counseling or talk to your pastor? Have you tried talking to him..praying for him..praying together...asking God for some help???

Let's all band together and encourage and pray for our Christian sister, her husband, and their situation. I know if I were in her shoes I'd be doing a lot more destructive things than just venting in a forum, so I give her a lot of credit.

You have to be careful when you make such a broad assumption that all women love jerks. You do not speak for me, nor do you speak for ANY woman alive. When a woman dates and marries a jerk that is called a mistake. Don't envy them, don't try to emulate them, don't associate yourself with women who date jerks or jerks themselves. Now you don't need to talk about it anymore. The end.

I have the best dad a girl could ask for -- daddy issues were never my thing.
The irony of it was... I dated nice guys who turned into jerks. (NOT that all men are jerks at all... it's just that unfortunately, the ones I picked were Nice Guys In the Beginning... and Really Nice to Other Girls later on.)

Why do some girls date guys who treat them like dirt? Do some girls feel like they've done so much bad in their past that they feel like they don't deserve to have someone treat them with respect and love? Instead of asking yourself why girls date jerks, you might want to ask why girls would date someone who treats them in jerk-like ways. What would push someone to date a guy who has major pride/attitude problems? There can't be any justification to date someone who is arrogant and thinks he's all that- you should be able to smell the ego a mile away. I'm aware it works the other way around too.
I mean I enjoy a lot of mischief and I like going out at night. Now I don't do anything illegal and never get drunk though I may have a couple drinks but somehow at least with the local christian has branded me one of the bad guys. At this point Im just like whatever...Ive met nicer christian women who enjoy doing the same things anyways haha
...because they're usually into more superficial things like looks, achievement, power, and wealth??

I think I may have already posted this in here at some point, but I had an aunt that went for these types with the Explaination that 'bad boys' were 'fun' and 'nice guys' are boring. =\

I think when a guy or girl goes with some considered "bad", they are pretty bad themselves.

I don't think any guy should complain about that if they haven't asked out at least 10 girls recently (Like with in the past month) and been rejected all ten times. Most of the guys that complain about it don't ever ask anybody out.....that's their only problem....they won't make any moves. Compare a guy that's a jerk willing to make a move to 10 "nice guys" that hasn't asked her out....who do you think she's gonna go for?

The title is not 'all women love jerks'. The title is 'so many women'. And men and women on this forum are constantly making broad statements about the other gender.
So now that you have spoken everyone needs to drop it because you're the final authority? Psh.
