needing help badly

if this isnt appropriate then feel free to delete it, I'm not trying to offend anyone or cause any kind of issues, as many of you know I was in a bad accident back in January, I was on my bike and was hit head on by a car, and broke my back, I was finally allowed to stop wearing the brace a few days ago, my back is still pretty messed up, but I'm doing the best I can, just glad I'm not in a wheelchair or dead, I have been able to work a few hours here and there, and i get a little unemployment, but we are in a complete mess as far as finances, the phone is shut off, the insurance is about to run out, we are just broke, I cant work much, the doctor says I can now lift 20 pounds, which is good, and I'm going to try to go back to work, my wife has a physical disability which makes her unable to work, If anyone can help out, PLEASE contact me, if you know of anyone who can help, let them know, we are sinking quick here, I'm not trying to beg, and I dont want to offend anyone but we are running out of options, this isnt a matter of me finding another job, it's the fact that I cant work, I went from being a healthy active person to this. I will also take all the prayers you have, those are gladly accepted, :)

I have a lawyer on commission, absolutely necessary, as i couldn't have dealt with all this, he is working on that, but it takes forever, I haven't seen a dime, he is working on a percentage of the settlement, it could be six months it could be a year, who knows, he keeps me updated,

I am sorry you have been through such a tough time, Praise God you are healing and you are as you say, not permanently disabled. God is Good. I can read how desperate you are and it seems logical to appeal here for funds...but that is not appropriate. Sadly it is against CC rules I believe. I know all who read your post will pray for you and your situation...and that's powerful and that's what we can give freely. :) What about insurance? Also, there are various orgs that can help you, they are set up for just such an eventuality, check out online what's around your community? It's good to act now, to protect your home, get some payment plans etc in place? As you have had a serious injury your doctor can also write a supporting letter? I pray all will be well, are you connected to a church? They will support you, friends, family? Draw on all the resources you can think of, God Bless you, <><
 
the one vertebra in my back stabilized at 50 percent collapse, which is good, that means no surgery, I had a T-12 I think thats what it was, lower back? burst fracture, I was knocked about ten feet in the air and landed on my head

Thank God you are walking! But such an accident and the resulting fall out financially is a burden, you are still not recovered and need to rest. All this worry and anxiety is not healing for you...I pray people will rally round to step in, support you and your wife practically and you will find a way through this that gives you peace, hope and security, in His Name, God Bless you and try not to set yourself back by doing too much too soon? :) <><
 
i can get out a bit, I did mow some grass today and plant some flowers, a lot of the pain in my back right now is caused by not using the muscles much for months at a time, you become addicted to the brace, I still get random leg pain, and get cold feet, which is when your feet suddenly get cold, no matter what the temperature outside is , I've been looking this up, and it's common with burst fractures like this

You need to go slow, be careful what Exersise you do....can you get physio? Get the right exercises to strengthen your back? It's lovely to work in the garden but not necessarily the best type of movement right now...the bending up & down? God wants you well but you do need to be sensible :) and not run before you can walk...build up your strength . You have had a serious injury, a shock to the body, it will take time to heal. You need peace of mind too...have you been thinking about what help you could tap into? Having anxieties over finances etc will not help your healing so do accept help. We need not be ashamed of accepting such support when we are in need. God Bless you <><

I am praying so hard for you and that the Lord gives you a miracle that is going to forever change your life and the way you see. Believe, don't stop believing okay because we have a BIG God :D and He is the God of miracles.

There are some companies that will now advance you on an accident settlement if you have one pending.
Ive seen them advertised, but Im sure at a cost.
Maby your lawyer can recomend.

well i got a letter that said my unemployment ran out, so now I'm done, nice knowing everyone, going to try and get enough money to get a storage place so i can store all my stuff, since we wont have a place to live now, I dont know what I did to make God so made , I really dont know it never ends

Just try to focus on giving thanks to God, easy in the good times but it is God that kept youbout of a Wheelchair!! :) God is not doing this to you, it is sadly a fallen world we live in, God only wants good things for you, He will never give up on you but you need to be saved? Do you know the Lord Jesus as your personal saviour? I hope so! Sounds like you are a fighter, I pray you will fight on, knowing you are never alone. Sit down, make a list....what, where, who , when....can help and or be a resource for you right now. Lists are comforting,mkeep us focused :) The love you seek? The salve against the injustice and hurt? Can only be found in Him. He will restore you, your life.....Trust in Him. It will give you peace, hope and the courage and energy to carry on.
