We live in a world of realities. And those realities dictate day to day living. Yeah, people hate us. Are we just supposed to ignore it as if it doesn't happen?
If someone hates you, you aren't supposed to do nothing...
you're supposed to love them.
So...
- If the Jews love you... you're supposed to love them.
- If the Jews hate you... you're supposed to love them.
- If the Jew's don't care one way or the other... you're supposed to love them.
I'm not seeing anything complicated here.

Many of the Jews rememeber Hitler and the concentration camps. Germany is a Lutheran country, which technically is Christian. Also, other Christian countries kept them in ghettos during the middle ages.

I have heard that a Communist Jew and an Extreme Right Wing Jew will argue their beliefs to the death, but if one or the other is attacked the other will come to his defense. Jews will disagree with non-Jews also in this same manner, but my experience has been if ever I have been in need of support they will support me eagerly and aggressively when necessary if they see I am being unjustly attacked. Jews do not inherently hate anyone, but their own experience does keep them sensitive to the attitudes of others.
Not to mention that when the RCC came about, they killed more jews in the name of christianity than hitler. So that is a big reason why jews are anti-christian. But again not all jews are, for some of us know, that what the RCC did is not followed by what is known as the church today. There are many churches who make it clear of their allegiance with Israel and their love for us.

I am not a Catholic, but that statistic is just false. Please let me know where you got it. And Jewish bigotry preceded any Christian bigotry. I believe that much of the world's anti-semitism exists as a backlash to Jewish bigotry against Gentiles.

Probably not that false since the RCC did it over a few centuries whereas hitler murdered 6 million in only about 6 years.

I have heard both these stories both ways. People who want to hate can usually make up a historical exaggeration to do it with. People who want to forgive can usually find a way to interject God into the history they remember. Jews know God, at least the OT revelation, so they can make a choice, as can we.
