Beauty vs brains

Nowadays, physical appearance seems to be more important than intelligence-at least in the entertainment industry. Even with the idiom "don't judge a book by its cover" people are still judged by their outward appearance-I know it is very natural but is it fair? A lot of girls tend to go for the guys that are good-looking and vice versa without considering brains.

I think intelligence is more important because while beauty is great, it does not last-it fades away however, intelligence grows day-by-day.

So is it about the brains or the beauty?

I completely agree--I want it all! And then some!

But extremes are never so good either... you know that old rule, never date someone prettier than you are (ha, ha--what I mean with this is more about vanity than looks... I wouldn't be comfortable around someone who thought he was so pretty that he was doing me a favor by being seen with me)... and I wouldn't want someone SO smart that I have to use the dictionary as a translation device every time I try to talk to him...

Who he is would have a lot to do with how he looks to me, too. I have regularly been attracted to guys for things I found particularly quirky... and that my friends found to be weird.

Exactly!!! Let me tell you guys my plan for life. I'm gonna marry a rich old man, preferably one with no kids, and wait 5 years for him to keel over. If it takes any longer, I'll contact my hitman, and arrange a few things. After I have all his money, I'm gonna marry the man that I love. it's perfect!
