My most memorable trip of late would have to be to Key West. I drove from Indiana to South Carolina, down the west coast of Florida, through the Everglades (Did you know they had panthers in the Everglades? I didn't
), down to Key West, back up the east side of Florida and home to Indiana again about a year and a half ago. I visited an Indian reservation, several amazing beaches, Savannah GA, St Simons Island..
Driving the highway over the water was amazing...the water colors were incredible.
Loved every minute of it.

I love the Keys so so so so much. Did you get a chance to see a green flash sunset while you were down there?
I'm headed back downstate to Key West in July for Hemingway Days, I'm so excited.
My most memorable trip was studying abroad in France during college and backpacking on weekends and breaks...I managed to explore Geneva, Rome, and south France all on my own.
After the semester was over, instead of coming back to the US right away, my parents and siblings joined me because one of my cousins was getting married out there, and we visited with a lot of extended family (my family's kind of scattered between France, South America, and the Caribbean..there are only a few of us in the states)

My most recent trip was the Bahamas (Nassau) last month with 3 of my sisters. It was unforgettable for me, not so much because of the location (although I can't complain, it's gorgeous,) but because it's
really hit me how grown up and beautiful my baby sisters all are. I remember the day they each came home from the hospital. They are so freaking funny to be around, even if they drive me up the wall at times. I don't have a lot of people with whom I can truly connect in my personal life, so I cherish whatever chance I get to spend time and share experiences with them.
I admit I have a case of wanderlust...been itching to get some more stamps on my passport, but I've got a lot on my plate at the moment, unfortunately. One sister is on board for a backpacking trip in the next year so hopefully we can work out the details and make it happen.
