The bible disscision forum is more where people discuss there diffrent belifes on biblical matters but not really a good place to go when your not looking for you post to get argued against but to get friendly feed back on whether its put togather good or not or mabye some suggestions of scriptures that would go with it.

You're obviously new to the site. There is no such place as an argument free zone here.
I don't know that there is but a handful of preachers on here, so the number of people using that area for its intended use would be pretty small. They tend to look for areas that will be busy and full. I'm not sure if it would be full enough or busy enough. But it's not my call. Just putting out possible reasons why they may not take the idea.

I think it is an interesting thought. I agree about the Bible Discussion forum, I for one don't see much discussion but heated arguments of both sides always demanding they are right. And sorry, but I have to disagree with Ugly, when I was on CC last year and in the chat room, I met quite a few pastors there. Most were from India, but I have met some from other places too.
Having a special place for them to go and talk about their sermons and maybe give each other suggestions I think would be a great idea. And maybe a good place for others to visit if they are in need of some insight. They have special forums for just about everything else, I don't see why they couldn't do one for this as well. I am sure they would give it some consideration if enough people are interested in it.
Remember, anything is possible with God.

I think what Ugly was trying to convey is that debates/fights will ensue just as much in such a forum. We're not being dismissive about the proposal of a Preacher's forum, but you have to understand, people like to 'preach' in their own right as it is, and on the same token, users like to disagree. Blogs are also a viable alternative.
With that being said, there are other forums/outlets that are perfectly suitable for this, and of course God's message is absolutely welcome!

As a pastor myself, I don't think it would work either. Do you know how many Internet theologians are on this site? They would just have a new forum to criticize and call people super spiritual and downplay the work of the Holy Ghost. The last thing I would want to see on this site is people like that attacking God's servants and trying to embarrass and intimidate them publicly.
Yes i have ran wccross many internet theologians as you put it but not very many pastors an here which is one reason i suggest the idea so preachers would have a place where they could find each other on here.. an sure there will probaly be people in there doin the things you said but my hope is the good done by the forum would outway the bad im only 19 years old an new to preaching an i think it would help me out to be able to talk to an get advice from others on here with more experince than me.
Well...... I don't know if I had a young minister in my church if I wanted him to listen to pastors of dozens of denominations two learn by...... that can be quite confusing.

sounds like a good idea if you can find someone trustworthy and level headed to moderate the forum,
otherwise it'll just become a free for all.
if you found a few pastors who wanted to share their sermons you could start a closed group and just share with one another that way. or it can be opened but moderated where you(or someone in the group) would have to approve of what is posted so it doesn't distract from the conversation, but others are still able to read it.
most of the pastors I know are very busy with their congregation and duties they don't have much time for online forums.
but i have meet a few retired pastors I respect on here, so they are around

Stephen i understand your concern but im non denomanatinal i understand there are many diffrent denomantions an opinions but i dont pay attention to things that pretain to a certain denomation i stay focusd on the basics..

My apologies for even commenting on this thread, I like to be positive and to encourage and be supportive and express hope, it just seems like so many others enjoy pooh poohing everything and putting everything down. I am not that way. I thought it was a good and interesting idea and I stand behind that. And as I said, anything is possible with Christ. If He wants a specific forum to be....it will be!
I am staying out of most forums and sticking to those where I can be encouraging and give hope to others who appreciate it and are in need. And staying out of those that are full of negativity and tearing people down. That is not what we are called to be doing, especially to one another.

I support ideas i think are good. If i see a flaw in a suggestion, i'm not 'pooh pooing' on it. I'm being realistic. Apparently others are being the same way. Sorry if you confuse realistic with negative. Life is not positive all the time.

And that is very sad. All Christians need lifted and built up, not torn down. It might be wise and more constructive if you tried being a little more loving and gentle to your fellow brother and sister. Just a suggestion.
I keep praying for everyone on here. It saddens the heart to see so much negative talk. The world is negative enough, and some want to fellowship with other Christians to get encouraged.

Its funny, the threads i've seen from you are usually down putting as well. Most 'positive' mentality people tend to do that, but never see it because they're too 'positive' to realize they look down on people who don't think like they do.
