Light dispels darkness.

Therefore all it takes for God to create darkness is to withdraw his light.

There is no darkness in God. There is only light in God.

Light comes when he draws to us (which would not be necessary had we stayed in him for then there would have only been light)

Darkness comes when God withdraws from us, thus leaving us exposed to the elements that are the fruit of our own ways.

Again, that would not have been had we stayed in him and lived only in the light of his love.

"Former of light and Creator of darkness, Maker of good and Creator of evil, I, Yahweh, make all these things." (Isaiah 45:7)

I would like to add one more perspective to what you said here.

That word, "thing", does not actually appear in that text but was added by the translators.

Consider this: Are light, darkness, good and evil actually things? Or are they effects?

Could the translator not have just as easily added the word, "effects", rather than adding the word, "things"?

God is love. We are in the image of love, and we took that image and placed it in an inanimate object. Money. We have turned that image of God and made it after what was created, wherein all evil comes from.

And I don't mean just paper money. Paul also profited by the law in his religion, not in money, but status of position and authority by knowledge of the law. In other words, whoever is the utmost on your religious list as far as the bible goes, Paul was one of them. Example. If I killed a few people, repented, accepted the Lord as my personal savior and turn myself in to do my time. When I come out, how would that profit me in position in life when those who haven killed as I have are regarded in much better esteem than I would be? By law and morality, I would be a poor man always.

But God is the Creator of ALL creation so he did create evil. Why did he create the devil when he knew of all the pain and suffering. Why did he do that. I still love him but im just so confused

Satan, Hebrew for "Adversary," also known as the Adversary, the dragon, the ancient serpent, and the Slanderer is head of the forces of evil.

God gives Satan power to try us (Job 1:6-12, 2:1-7), but Satan will eventually lose that power (1 Corinthians 15:24). Then all will be reconciled to God through Christ "that God may be all in all" (Colossians 1:20; 1 Corinthians 15:28).

I really do not understand some of you. Even if corrected, you continue to hold on to lies. God creates evil, or WHATEVER bad word you would like to place there!

Disaster= not good

Calamity = not good

Psalms 78:45-49

[SUP]45 [/SUP]He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
[SUP]46 [/SUP]He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.
[SUP]47 [/SUP]He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.
[SUP]48 [/SUP]He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
[SUP]49[/SUP]He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

I am saying that God sends evil people because in the midst of all this abundance in resources and technologies, we treat our pets better than we treat our race. There is no way in hell 133,000 kids should starve or millions be without homes when we have enough to take care of 12 billion people.

You want evil to stop? Then take away money and respect by it, and declare the whole earth common to all who live here!

All of that as the reaction but not a result of the initial action of God creating us.

So as a reaction to our actions. Thus as just consequences to our having stepped outside of his love, that we might learn and so return to his love.

I think we all agree with that.

You know the saying. "It's a thin line between love and hate." And if we are to love are neighbors as ourselves, then for us to sit back while these things are happening means that we really hate ourselves and each other. So we hide behind our money, and status.

There is only one body.

Actually God didn't create the Devil;
He created Lucifer, the anointed cherub.

Lucifer later became quite determined to turn himself into something else.

I found out something about Lucifer, bro.

"Lucifer" is used once in the King James Version as a mistranslation of the Hebrew for "howl" (Isaiah 14:12). The same exact Hebrew word is used in (Zechariah 11:2). Variations of the word are in (Isaiah 14:31; 13:6; 15:2,3; 16:7; 23:1,6,14; 52:5; 65:14).

Isaiah refers to the King of Babylon in the future day of Israel's restoration not Satan's fall in the past (Isaiah 14:3-20). Then Satan will have been cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:9). The King of Babylon is a man (Isaiah 14:16), and Satan is not a man.

Sure it's evil or a test ?
whatever is pure, whatever is right, whatever is true ,think upon "these things" ...
Remember , darkness "occurs when when we are "separated from Him"
Let's see what the word says about "testing "

Luke 8:13
Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of (testing)they fall away.

Hebrews 3:8
do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of (testing) in the wilderness,

Ezekiel 21:13
“‘Testing will surely come. And what if even the scepter, which the sword despises, does not continue? declares the Sovereign Lord.’

it's not evil its (testing)
God is not evil .. :)
Blessings

Lucifer is only a man. That cherub that covers is the flesh and blood that surrounds your inner "spirit man" which is your true existence. That covering cast will be destroyed.

"From the beginning is the Adversary sinning." (1 John 3:8). "He was a man-killer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, for truth is not in him. Whenever he may be speaking a lie, he is speaking of his own, for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44).

I very much agree with you about that. But we must realize that the zealots felt that same noble desire.

The only thing I would caution is that we not end up doing it our way. God has clearly outlined the way in which we are to do it.

And that way is through spiritual education, that life-giving water that Jesus told us would flow from our bellies. John 7:38 "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

Satan has hindered us much with his hiding of the light of truth by shining his imitation light as a diversion. But we will in the end gain the victory by the power of God through Christ. And we must believe that or we willl fall from God's way and begin trying to do it our way.

The beasts picture nations and people's attitudes in places like as Isaiah chapter 11. Let us look there and elsewhere about how this victory we all so desire will be achieved:

Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears
:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

What is the result of his knowledge and wisdom?

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

What is that showing us?

9 They [these beast like personalities] shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: [Why?]> for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

This is the message to Christ's church as to what it and it's people must faithfully do:

Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
