Imagine: What would the Opposite Gender Version of You be like?

I guess I'd date the male version of me, although, I couldn't be around him 24/7... I mean, sometimes I hate that I have to deal with myself all day sometimes, imagine a guy version of me. lol :p
 
I'm with you on that, OceanGrl- I get sick of being stuck with me all the time, what if I'd have married a male version of me?! Eep, I'd have to...kill us both...which would be a weird kind of double suicide? Yikes. K, that was sorta dark...but really, my husband is nothing like me, so we balance each other out...something that would be impossible if I had married someone too much like me.

^^^That...is the kind of sense I make before I have my first cup of coffee.

Oh, but I'd totally be FRIENDS with a guy version of me.
 
I think the female version of me would be a rockin', artsy bohemian, crazy cat lady, Bible believing neo-hippie. She would spend years as a missionary sharing Christ with some remote people group that no one has heard of, in a part of the world that no one would want to go to. She would earn her doctoral thesis over how this group's pagan drumming became drumming rhythms that glorified the Most High after their conversion. She would marry a missionary way later than when most marry, not wanting to marry just to appease a Christian social norm. She would eventually become one of those "eccentric" college professors, teaching World Music and contributing to textbooks.

OH, and she would be one of those "cool" college professors that encourages bringing food to class and sharing, which would irk the dean.

Couldn't get this in within the 5 min limit. :p

I don't know...but I do know I wouldn't have to worry about losing my hair someday, since baldness doesn't run in the family. ;)

And I'd probably look a lot like my brother. He pretty much is a (less couch potatoey) male version of me appearance wise, haha.

See, I don't know that I would. I'll be the first to admit that I'm no perfect person; I have weaknesses as well as strengths. I think the person that would complement me most would be someone who's strengths could account for my weaknesses, and my strengths could account for hers.

Hah... I read through all of these and it appears that someone put a description of me in here. So... based on that, I guess the female version of me would have to be Snoboots even though I'm not sure what that is! LOL

It looks like Error already laid claim to my description here. lol Does that mean that the male version of Error would be like Snoboots as well? Hmmm lol

I don't think that is the case. In order to compliment one another well, you would have to differences. Maybe I am just seeing it differently but I would see her as having what I lacked and lacking what I do... sort of completing one another.

I guess that would depend on how much you like yourself. There are some things about myself that would be great if she could also do. But other things that I would be like, "Oh great... as if that is not annoying enough when I do it." lol
