I would like to know who the other 9 INFPs are... must those mystery people lurking in the shadows of 'current users browsing thread' section. Come out come out where ever you are, my fellow introverts... ;)

I always get infj as well, and yes I read on a site like 1% of the population is an infj. So to see that the majority type in the poll...seems a little off. I have once though come up with ENFJ..maybe it was an off night.

However I wonder if people inclined towards religions or christianity tend to more be in line with the infj. That could account for that.

Also the description of the infj fits me perfectly.
*bruised Arwen's INFP ego of the desire to be unique and the only MBTI type that can be 1%* hmmmpf

The last two letters can change with me evertim I take it. J and P usually hover at 50%. I suppose I fit into the Myers Briggs 'Enigma' class.

Do you guys notice that you naturally flawk to people/things of your type? For example, when I look at the people who were famous INFP, music that has been made by INFPs, or even characters from books- even before I found out my type, I naturally was drawn to them. Anything that had depth, meaning, tragedy, romance, existential angst.

The test I originally posted is about the worst there is online.

But typically people know themselves more than other people.

Also being extroverted and being introverted don't mean what I used to think they did. Its not how you spend your time but where you recharge. Essentially where you are drawn to your center.

Also, The introverted version of an ENTP is an INTJ. not simply and INTP. The letters don't mean as much as the functions.

Fe Extroverted Feeling relates to Communicating harmony through expression. Fe users, will smile, not because they are happy but because its the acceptable reaction to the group. Most Fe users wear their emotions and feelings and are easy to read. When someone tells someone else to "Smile!" its typically a Fe user. Harmony is big driver to a Fe dom user. (ESFJ, ENFJ, INFJ, ISFJ, ESTP, ENTP, ISTP, INTP)

Fi Introverted Feeling is about being Authentic to one's self and expressing Genuineness. It values things based on rightness and wrongness to the self. It deals with emotion internally, what you see from a Fi user is what they let you see. When someone says, "Be Yourself" its typically a Fi user. Being (ISFP, INFP, ENFP, ESFP, INTJ, ISTJ, ESTJ, ENTJ)

You should naturally flock to the extraverted/introverted opposite according to socionics. INFPs with ENFP's. ISTJ's with ESTJ's etc.

INFP = Fi Ne Si Te
ENFP = Ne Fi Te Si

Someone who is the exactly same is very 'relatable', but won't add value to a relationship compared to an E/I opposite (same functions, different order). That being said, boxing people this way isn't a science.

Well I'm both INFP and ENFP, so NA NA NA NA NA lol.

Just out of interest, I'm also a Libra Sun, Libra Rising with a Scorpio moon. Apparently that makes me the most intuitive, instinctively analytic sign combination of the zodiac.

People like me tend to be secret agents, authors etc .. so I've read. If you believe in all that.

Your an INFP

or if I felt like being objective, keep taking the test until you get an average... and a cognitive functions test to see whether Fi or Ne is the significantly stronger. I'm here to bore you into submission :p

Four tests, two of each. I'll go 50/50 on the Fi and Ne. It's nice to have some balance in life sometimes.

I'm both of these things depending on what the particular situation requires in context; depending on my focus, aim, and intuition. My life often feels like a finely tuned balancing act between the need for expression or the need for lack of it. And sometimes it's out of politeness, other times it's out of some form of necessity. Sometimes I'm expressive to assert a stipulation and other times because of some other reason.

Every situation is different. I can't say i'm predominantly one or the other, because everything has a certain context and requires a certain response or motivation.

I can spend weeks in solidarity, working and studying, but then I can go outside an engage others with energy.

I've said both those things; 'be yourself', and 'smile'. It depends on the person whom I'm talking to, and what I gather from that specific situation. Everything is variable, everything has angles, and nothing is set in stone.

I never saw it as boxing.

Unless telling superman that he can fly is boxing him into superheroes that fly category.

"C'mon guys I'm more than that, I have feelings too!" - Superman.

The older you get, the more balanced the result. Secondary functions catches up first, then tertiary then 4th inferior. I guessed INFP, because no matter how well or rounded you apply the 'Ne' function to create a balanced illusion, your instinctive reaction is still to lead conversation with how something applies you 'Fi' then cite multiple different (Ne) personal experiences/facts 'Si' that feed your 'Fi'.

If you were an Ne-dom (ENFP), you'd likely be starting with "but X, Y, Z, therefore doesn't fit with me" instead of the other way round.

Also, being a Fi-dom, your so comfortable with 'who you are' you'll probably reject a box on principle. :p

Perhaps a social INFP?

And Tethered: WOW! Impressive.

It's a hobby of mine.

I used to think I was an INTJ, because I wasn't seen as social. Then I realized i'm all about explaining, incorporating and coordinating and given the right environment I become very interactive.

He's like us Liamson! Liamson is ENFP and I am the introverted version of him, which apparently ripples big differences that go beyond just introversion and extroversion preference.

LOL oh yes it does! hahahaha!

To make matter worse, Arwen, I know like 6 INFPs. What are the odds of that?

Well, I've been told that nursing isn't an ENTJ kind of job. However, business is. I could do business... but it doesn't really interest me. Puzzles do. People are puzzles, medicine is a puzzle. Therefore, nursing works well for me. Also, I won't get bored quickly. Lots of new people, lots of new cases.
