I, as all of us, search of Godly truth. Plan B has nothing to do with being for or against God. I am not agreeing with any "wordly opinions" of plan B. There is only scientific fact about what a drug does. There is nothing to have an opinion about. We are talking facts. It is NOT a form of abortion. Fact. It is preventing any possibility for a would-be child. You can't abort something that doesn't exist.

I am not even religious and I hate the fact that 14-15 year olds are having sex. It bothers me to no end. But better to have birth control then to have 15 year old mothers who can't take care of their children, have them taken away and the child lives a horrible life. It's sort of like sex ed classes. I don't get the states that teach abstinence only. Kids WILL find out about sex. Now would you rather they find out the ins and outs of it from some random kid on the bus who probably doesn't know a thing? or would you learn it from a certified health teacher who can tell you how to be safe and prevent unwanted pregnancies and diseases and what not? Just my opinion

In Ireland recently, there was a case that is stirring huge media and human interest. About an Eastern woman who was having complications in her pregnancy. The doctors say they weren't sure if the woman would pull through, and they were almost certain the child would not. But abortion is illegal.

Both the mother and the child died.

That's your other extreme. Anything taken to the extreme ends up like that. Both died. You think that was God's will? It was in the doctor's hands and they let both die. Of course, I'd be curious to know how far along the pregnancy was. Even still, if the pregnancy is far enough along, why in the world didn't they take the baby? You can save them from one pound up at this point. But it still sounds like those doctors are very BAD doctors.

There is no reason to take this medication unless you've already had intercourse. If you have sex then you should be fully aware of what could happen.
There is a very fine line to whether plan-B is morally right or wrong. Why take the risk of being morally wrong? Also, the fact you're using science to defend your argument rather than the word of God does show that your view of whether its acceptable or not is a bit worldly.

Just because science says somthing is "ok" or gives detail of a process doesn't mean God finds it acceptable.

you all do realize that science and faith dont stand at opposite ends of some moral spectrum right?

I, as all of us, search of Godly truth. Plan B has nothing to do with being for or against God.

How would you then reconcile this verse within your argument:
Matthew 12:30
"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Well....this is insane extremist fanaticism. I suppose you are one of those people that also want to imprison gays for....being gay. This is not far from suicide bombers and the tragedies that happened at 9/11. Religious fanaticism MUST GO. Very dangerous and intolerant. I wish the same imprisonment for those people, not as a punishment, but as protection for the rest of us. You never know when some of these psychotic individuals will want to murder because of something they believe God told them to do. This is very sick...

murder.
abortion is murder
murderers are supposed to be jailed.

why are you on about gays?

go look at pics of aborted - murdered - dismembered babies.
it'll take a long time.

you need to look at 55 million pictures.

or go watch one LIVE.

they cut them up with scissors...or vacuum their brains out as they are being born.

GO LOOK YOU WIMP

then don't come back and don't talk to me.

Ive seen worse, far worse

nope still seen worse things. This is the internet. If abortions are the worse thing youve seen consider yourself lucky.

Its a good fallback argument when people dont understand the actual topic because its closely related?

I'm clueless as to what you are talking about. I never used science to defend any argument. There is nothing "wordly" here. I simply used science to explain what exactly it is that the pill does. How is that using science against God? And how is that saying that Science "says" it's ok? Whatever that means.

Fair enough, I just don't like spreading the misconception that Plan B = abortion. So long as everyone's clear that they aren't the same thing.

Ah, playing clueless and pretending to not know what I am saying. Gotcha.
The fact that you compare human life to bacteria shows me you seem to rely on science more than what God says. To downgrade God's greatest creation like that is rather appalling.

You can also explain all day long that Plan-B is not an abortion pill. I am well aware what Plan-B does as I have stated before. Just because Plan-B does not abort a life doesn't mean it is morally ok to do it. That is what I was getting at.

^^ Not necessarily you in particular, but CLEARLY the majority seems to not have a clue what the pill does if they are in fact comparing it to abortion. It's not even a question. I've never seen so much misinformation and propaganda about a pill before.

Also, are you saying that condoms and real birth control are immoral? Because Plan B is pretty similar.

That's actually a good question, and they are similar as they all prevent fertilization.

The moral issue I have is they're available for anyone. They don't promote abstinence. Yes, safe sex is important which is why it should be reserved for marriage.
Yet it's not the "in" thing to promote abstinence. This is a moral issue with me because of there are too many sexually active children out there. Of course we can't teach morals and what the bible says in school so what do ya do?
Am I making sense? I'm multitasking at the moment so who knows what I'm saying. Lol

No matter what side of the moral issues anyone is, the fact is, people of all ages are going to fornicate. No matter if they have proper education or not. And I think it would be a horrible tragedy not to have these type of things available for EVERYONE and ANYONE. We can't pretend like it won't happen. We have to acknowledge the truth. I absolutely support it's accessibility to everyone. They seem to already be a poor decision maker anyway, the last thing they need is children.
