The awkward moment when you have no idea how to do something, so...you do it anyway. And you get the kind of results that you could expect from having no idea how to do said something. So THEN you're like, "Oh, I could fix this..." but you have no idea HOW to fix it, so...you do it anyway...

Vicious cycle. ^^^ That is my entire life.

I know the whole business about the old law is done away with and we are under a new covenant with God business, but don't you think that 18:23 Might still hold true?!?!?

That awkward moment when you run into an ex-boyfriend at the grocery store and he starts comparing himself to your husband and saying, "At least you found someone a lot like me", and you go "....." and then he realizes that maybe you're trying to buy vegetables so he wraps up the weird conversation by saying, "By the way, you look really good for having had 2 kids" and you go "...." because you're not going to say thank you to a compliment that isn't really a compliment, and also, you can't honestly tell him HE looks good, too, because HONESTLY, he looks like he's swallowed a keg and he still tucks his stupid sleeveless shirts into his baggy pants and that always bugged you.

So you just eventually say "Bye..." but then run into him in the bakery and try to look like you don't see him.

Wow! That is one of the most awkward moments I've ever read. I almost feel like I need a shower now. LOL I can't imagine that...man...you poor girl.

I know..it's been a crazy weekend whilst you were away. The singles forum has gone the full range of emotions I think. LOL God is unchanging though...least we have that consistency.
