doesn't believe that you must go in front of church to speak in tongues and doesn't understand the whole "slain in the spirit".

Does believe it is for us today, but believes that we should not ignore the gifts of the SPIRIT as well.

And that from the guy who said he'd rather speak five words with his understanding than ten thousand words in a tongue. Of course Paul went on missionary journeys and was shipwrecked a couple times so it is easy to see how he had to address people whose language he did not know.
You get a point for more being more than once.

i have been in churches where this is done but again i am bad at remembering where verses are located. acts i believe says not more than 2 or 3 should speak during one service and they should speak one at a time and only if there is sonmeone there that is able to interpret for the edification of the church. elsewhere corinthians i think it says not all are given the same gifts and so not all believer's speak in tongues. i sang in tongues as a child as a form of prayer when i was alone.
