Why is it that certain people that post in the bible discussion forum seem to only want to have a "collective monologue" -- instead of an "intelligent dialog" conversation...???

Wouldn't it be really cool if a group of people could / would work together to answer the questions that would solve the issues - "sharpen everyone's iron" - and, grow everyone involved in the scriptures?

"I wonder if this is the way the bible discussions / studies are conducted at their church?"

Do they let the group-discussion-leader guide and moderate the conversation?

Do they follow a focused step-by-step thought process that is discussed step-by-step?

When anyone adds to the group discussion, do they offer their thoughts on the current focus of the conversation or do they just "play their tape" - start to finish - over and over and over again?

Well...

It's like saying their ABC's GRA.
If they get interrupted they gotta start allllllll over again. From start to finish
