At the risk of alienating the women of CC from me more than I already have, you don't want to read what's in the Women's forum anyway. There isn't much of anything of interest posted there.
I would have to agree with Aimee on this one :)

Chrissy, you should know...one must study their prey,,,errr umm victim...uhhh desire of the heart to understand them.
If it is true one fears what one does not understand
Then it would also be true that one no longer fears what is now understood.
Yes, that is very true Midnite.
In reality, the best thing I think would be to get to know and understand a
person who is your heart's desire.

Chrissy, if I may...
They cannot become your hearts desire ....until....you have gotten to know and understand them
Did Christ become your hearts desire before . or . after you got to know and understand him?

Didn't I say that? Oh I see I worded it differently.
All I meant was that if I was tracking my prey, I would study them and get to know and understand
them. Then once I have gotten to know them and found out that they truly are what they have portrayed
that is when they will become my hearts desire.

You said that very well, Midnite.

I feel like a creeper for "liking" a bunch of posts in the man cave...but...SeatBelt SAID we could read it, so if I'm reading it anyway, should I stop "liking" the posts and pretend I'm NOT reading it?

I promise not to post nuthin'.

My husband has half a basement and a garage. Plus I ask him what color he wants stuff in the house...and I now have a black area rug in the living room that he bought "for me". It has to be vacuumed 3 times a day. Buuuut...he likes it. And he doesn't complain when I leave my flat iron on the bathroom counter and he knocks it down and burns himself...

So...win!

LOL @ the rug he bought "for you" :)

My stepdad bought my mom a fishing boat once for their anniversary. :) He named it "Big Mama". He lived, but it was iffy for a bit. :D

P.S. - My mom was terrified of water :)

P.S.S. - I agree with you. :) I have liked some stuff in the man cave, but wouldn't dare post. It's not too much for them to ask of us. I think it would keep trouble down if people would respect requests in the forum. Just sayin..

There's an owl that hangs out in one of our trees...I kind of like him, the hooting is much nicer than the screech owls across the road screeching at each other all night. The hoot owl sits in the tree by my porch and if I look up during the day, I see...owl butt. He also drops the skeletons of his dinner on our car.

...is it sad if your life is so boring that a sleeping owl is fascinating?

This may have been a bit like when my dad Un-Retired a second time after my mom spent all Saturday re-planting the "weeds" he had spent all Friday digging out of her flowerbeds and veggie garden. Sometimes the best gift a person can give is something like a boat they spend 32 hours a week on. I hear empty-nesters need hobbies for this sort of a reason.

If I put it in Pink will they read it?

I think it is hilarious that it took 14 hours before Jullianna walked in, looked around, and said, "Oh, no problem. We can, too." and started the Woman Cave thread.
I'm sure you have your moments, Jules - nope, scratch that, JEWELS, as Proverbs 3:15... anyway, before I derailed myself, I was saying you probably have your moments as we all do, but you present yourself to be a very level headed woman. Whatever your negative qualities may be, you exhibit many other qualities that most women (and men!) would do well to aspire to. It is a pleasure to know you.

This post makes me think of this song :)
"There's been a hoot owl howlin outside my window now for six nights in a row." :)

When we stray, God comes after us :)

LOL, song reminds me of one time I did an impromptu looooong singing message on my younger cousins answering machine, it was silly crazy weird, they and their parents liked it , I guess that's what matters, I was their older cousin, around 22 at the time and they were 10,12,14.
Good times being their big cousin growing up.

Luke 15:4
And he spoke this parable to them, saying, 4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. …
