Why is it that I fear the things that hold the most promise to bring me happiness?
Why is it that I procrastinate the things I most want done out of fear of doing a poor job of them?
Why is it that the Sandman keeps showing up way past schedule but the Pollenman shows up every three minutes for another round?
Why is it that on Monday I am given paperwork at the daycare that I should have been given last week and so I have to stand around making snap decisions about who should be on the emergency contact list and filling out permission slips for things that the old director would have sent home with us a week or more in advance, making me about 15 minutes later to work than I otherwise might have been?
Why is it that what sounds best for dinner is a big serving of nachos & locking my bedroom door to watch House on DVD undisturbed?
Why is it that I am on CC instead of making nachos while the kids play in the back yard?
Why is it I'm logging out & heading for the kitchen!?!
