28" monitor? I bought the 23" and honestly it's more than enough. but I guess it's a gaming thing. I looked at larger ones when I bought the 23 but looking at the 23 I thought to myself that it was more than enough. I've always had a 17 inch so half a foot more of screen seemed huge I guess. I was thinking in terms of computer use not movies.

Well, my brother is crazy, what can I say. lol He's all into electronics and computers and all that stuff. His room looks like a command center for a spaceship.

Oh yeah, I can't wait for those new Star Wars movies, those will be awesome. Wow, you have hundreds and hundreds of DVD's? So you are like you're own Redbox. :p I have a few movies that I like to have, mostly Disney ones and the like.
No...but you have to remember,I was married for 9 yrs...so over the years we just kept buying films. What I do..and I do this with music...is I purchase them...burn a copy for myself, then sell the original...thus having $$ to buy more new stuff. lol

lol, well, that's one way around it. Sounds like a plan! I just wait for friends or family to buy CD's or MP3's and then ask for a copy of it. It's not the best practice but hey, I have bills! lol

I'll wait till I have like 30 or 40 cd's..take them to the record store & end up walking out with like $250..because my cd's are always pristine condition & I usually have rare import stuff you can't buy on the shelves in the US...so my used value is greater than let's say the regular US version of a Linkin Park cd...mine would be the Japanese version with 2 extra tracks & a dvd.

It pays to shop around too. If I'm buying a hard physical cd I never pay more than I have to...MP3 purchases are waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper, and that's what I do for a lot of the older stuff I like. Jazz especially.

It works. I have a decent surround sound but I live in an upstairs apartment and you can hear everything. I would like to get a big flat screen if I had that hooked up cause it makes me want to watch movies more. For now I don't care much.

And unlike catherder thought. I am extremely respectful of my neighbors and family memebers. Otherwise I'd have my tama set set up in the living room just bashing!

I will be the only one in my building soon.LOL The apt above me has been empty for 2 months...the old folks across the hall are leaving end of this month...and the woman upstairs from them is moving end of August.
I never thought I'd miss owning my own home...'cause there was always something that needed improvement,or yanno always having to mow the lawn or trim a bush,or clean up after yer' dog or make sure the pump is working on the pool..etc...part of me misses that. I wish I could have shared all those things & more with a christian woman..and had a proper marriage. Part of me feels a little bad for saying that. As though I am trying to diss my ex,but I don't mean it that way. I just wish I had waited on God & not basically in so many words called God a liar because at the time,no christian women were interested in me and I had all these non believers who were...eventually I caved in because I found a non believer who I had so much "in common" with except God..and when I say we had stuff in common,it wasn't like that we both enjoyed skydiving or hobbies or even music...it was more things like "I don't want kid's" or "I think government is evil"...yadda yadda...junk like that. Wow.........talk about epic derail. Ok..well..so ummmmmm..yeah.

Yeah, it's funny. When I wasn't walking with God and I didn't have a family I had all kinds of money. Now I often wish I could share that with them now. There is a reason for everything, I don't know what it is but there is. I used to have a house in Cali on 2 acres. Had a nice two story guest house a built in pool. It was right in the middle of orange orchards. The sides and back had barbed wire fencing and the front part of the side and the front were like 4 foot tall chain link and it had one of those remote control electric gates that would roll open. It would be perfect for a family. I didn't want t family then though.

It was funny cause a few weeks back we were talking about riding a lawn mower intoxicated or something. I used to have a huge lawn. There was lawn in front of the main house and lawn on the side and then another lawn between the front how and the guest house on the side of the pool. I had a john deer riding mower and I used to love to mow the lawn with a few beers and bong rips and my headphones in. I mean it made doing the lawn as fun as it could be I guess.

We own a small 3 bedroom 1 bath and one gross toilet in the basement 80 year old home. The neighborhood is nice but the street is busy. We have great soil here and can grown anything in our yard. We have the nicest next door neighbors, they are retired late 60 have grown kids and live alone. They love my kids. The husband is loud but really funny. Our houses are separated by a small drivewAy. In the summer when Windows are open I can hear him sneeze, I say God Bless you, he says thanks. When we are out in the back yard and he's letting my kids watch him gut fish I give him a beer, that's how we roll around here. When they move I'm out of here.
