ok, fair enough, but I'm not the one judging. the bible says that homosexuality is an abomination, and although it is a sin like all other sins (separates us from GOD) somehow it is a sin that is being constantly twisted in this world. It is a major threat to christianity because it imposes a sin on the american people and says that it is OK to be homosexual, when it is not, and when us christians speak out against it we are "judging" or "nit picking".

I don't go around slopping spit with my husband in disney land but go there on gay week and you will see a bunch of them doing just that and if we so much as look at them cross eyed we are wrong for standing by the beliefs and laws GOD handed down to us. BUT SOCIETY says homosexuals can do these things.... why is that?

Do you understand just how many sins are in the Lord's sight abominations? Take a real good look at Leviticus and Deuteronomy.

How about looking at chapter 25

25 If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
2 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

This is a continuation from CHAPTER 5 and 25:16 is the conclusion of that whole entire passage. The whole entire law was to show us just how disgusting ANY sin is in His sight.

Trying to cherry pick one sin because it is NOT my sin is an utter disgrace to what the Lord is trying to show us. What He is trying to show us is just how much gossip,unfair weights and measures,etc is JUST as much an abomination in His sight. When one does that it minimizes the rest and makes it look not so bad,while the consequences in this life may be more severe for certain sins,the eternal consequence is one and the same even for the smallest little white lie.

You have some doctors somewhere playing god and making that choice before the child even has any time to grow up. With intersexed people it IS a problem with the body. Jesus did say there are those who are born that way. The world is broken and under a curse. Be thankful you never had to deal with that. Try being that way one time and see how you like it. Try having male and female tissue and see how much of a joy it really is. Try feeling like you have been cursed since the day you were born. It is so much of a joy feeling like one is split in two. Try feeling like you were born like a sideshow freak,and wonder if you will ever have a time in your life where you could just be an average person. It's a whole lot of fun to go through and then to have to receive the garbage because of something YOU DIDN'T DO is one heck of a ride.

I do apologize Rick,this is a subject that I have had to deal with myself. Some of the transgender issue is because of the intersexed condition. (Not all is some is because of severe abuse and some is because of a rejection of what God has given them) The thing is they do it too soon instead of letting the child start showing the traits one way or the other. Waiting a few years would hurt some children far less then doing the operation as soon as they do. Two it would help the child medically if they would the child know that it was done. I do agree it does the help the child in the long run IF it is done in a proper manner.

I am reading a bit more into it then I should be. I just have heard it way too much from both sides. The excuses,the justification,and just plain outright garbage from those who say they are LGBT. (I do know where they are coming from been there myself and still dealing with parts of it) But I also see where from a lot of Christians view points many do NOT want to see that God looks at ALL sin as an abomination. But what happens far too often is that most don't want to see that part. It's easier to minimize what we are ourselves are doing but not looking at it from God's perspective. And I know what it is that bothers me so much is that at times it's like some want to put certain sins up on a pedestal as if they are so much more horrid then others. I do apologize I took it the wrong way.

Homosexualism is a threat to the Trinity based churches because they rarely teach against it and are seeing main line denominations accepting it for certain at local levels and creeping in at the higher leadership as in Episcopal churches, Presbyterians, Lutherans, some Methodist besides the growing Homosexual led churches.
I am A Apostolic Oneness Christian the true church and we teach against it and though we have some that come, they must leave and repent of that lifestyle, one man struggles with it all the time and is hot in church and then cold, he is not used in any leadership position. A woman that was into it has quit coming really of late.
I feel homosexual lifestyle is a plague that is destroying families and for sure the people that through choice or put on them by God for rejecting the Truth and will lead this nation further itself into the abyss as mankind thinks it is OK to have here openly.
Romans 1:deals with it very harshly.

It doesn't affect me really, I am not around them, and except for the two come now and then , know of no others.
I am disgusted at seeing them pushed on TV like Rachel Madcow on Msnbc and in Movies and Series, which I avoid as much as possible and find it sick.

HMMM Seems I remember that one of my pastors was asked to step down for a time and seek godly council or if he didn't the church was going to let him go because he was homosexual (Lutheran church by the way) He made his choice and was let go,he died from complications from AIDS about 3 years ago.

When I was a child going to school; I knew a friend that everyone use to play with. We all use to tease him at times because he acted like a girl; back then kids didn't knew anything about homosexuals. So we use to call him sissy boy and told him that he acted like a girl, and he use to get mad and want to fight and which he knew how to fight ( but like a girl). But he didn't like being called a girl. In school at break-time. Him and me and a few friends use to play like we are super heroes on the monkey bars in the sandbox. His character was alway catwoman, but the rest of us didn't mine, as long as someone plays the evil villian ( and which it was hard, because everyone wanted to be the super heroes). But reflecting back on it, I remember that he always was trying his best to act like a boy and which he was. But it seemed that if he was struggling to be a boy. At the time he was around 7-8 yearsold, but I believe his mom was pressuring him to behave like a boy. She was very stern with him when she come to after school events with him. He was quiet around his mom. I believed that she might have been in the military because of the way she acted.
So I believed that in some cases that homosexuality is cause by some hormonal imbalance in the body or the brain like a person that has Dyslexia the signals are being crosswired. I believe that God was referring to the ones that are heteral sexuals that can't control themselves when they are away for a while ( like a minute) from their spouse, and so they go looking for someone else to relieve them from their itch.

Just because they have been using hormones in the food supply since the 1930's,or in medicine (IE DES),or chemicals that can act as hormone blockers or receptors,and can act in combination with one another, that has nothing to do with it at all. I mean come,they are totally safe with NO SIDE affects what so ever. (Thaliomide anyone?) UN HUH Just makes one want to go out and trust those guys in their little white coats.
