I think my favorite Word is: Ravage
Nice post! XD

Made me want 2 things:
1) Play FPS today
2) Really want to study Russian (just love the accent, and all those consonants XD)

Ok, i LOVE words in general. It's tough to decide which i like the most XD

But i got down to 3:

1) Soliloquy. Love the spelling, and how it's read. Plus, i do this often (monologuing in my empty room. either i'm playing a skit in my head, venting my frustration, or just being weird XD)

2) Ethereal. Yup, also love the spelling and how it's read. I love the concept of something fleeting and otherworldly. Mysteriously beautiful. I might give my future daughter this name :) (hope to have one!)

3) Forever. Love how it sounds. And, well, i hate goodbyes. So the concept of forever is something that i long for :) i absolutely love the meaning :D to me, it's being finally with GOD in HIS kingdom, praising and worshiping HIS name, and delighting in HIS presence endlessly (now that's another word i like. So romantic sounding!).

My favorite word is not really a real word at all... fantabulous and the reason I like it is because it combines fantastic with fabulous which is so fantabulous. :D

janky

(adjective) inferior quality; held in low social regard; old and delapidated; refers almost exclusively to inanimate material objects, not to people.

Cristen's TV was just ginormous, whereas Matt's was all beat up and downright janky!

Why? Because they're strong words and a bit melodramatic; fun to say.

Which brings us to one of mine:

Melodrama; melodramatic

When students tell me the sob stories of why they couldn't come back to the band room after school to take their instrument home, it's sooooo melodramatic.

Now look, I hate to bring this up in a Christian forum, where everybody should be all brotherly-loveness-filled-up and what not, but you're supposed to pick your favorite word.

So... basically... and you didn't hear this from me... but I think you cheated.

I mean... maybe I was going to use one of those words.
What if you've made 6 people completely favorite-word-less?
How can you sleep at night?

: )
