(CNN)– For more than two decades, the Rev. R. Guy Erwin couldn't officially be a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. On Friday, he was elected a bishop.

Erwin's election signals a shift not only for the ELCA – the nation's seventh largest church – but also for American Christianity. Only one other mainline Protestant denomination, the Episcopal Church, has elected openly gay and lesbian bishops.


“In these days such milestones seem to be coming at an ever-faster rate," Erwin told CNN, "and eventually what seems revolutionary now will seem normal and predictable."

But we are suppose to be the boring bunch. No dancing in the aisles,no speaking in some unknown language,never see an LCMS pastor speak at an ecumenical service etc. Just plain vanilla. (Actually vanilla is kind of nice) :)
 
the judgement of our God will begin at His house because of all the detestable practices being done there. when Jesus cleared the temple of the money changers with physical force He clearly showed that He intends to clear out the church of all violator's of His holy standards for behavior there. this was our foretaste that He is indeed the Lion of JUdah as well as the LAMB of God. he came as the suffering servant the first time around but He will be All Mighty Messiah when He returns. make no mistake. those who violate God's clearly stated standards for operating the church will bear the full measure of Christ's wrath when He comes

Legally it can't be stopped. I suppose we could burn their signs and such down, cut out all the labels on their brochures. I'm not gonna do that, but you can knock yourself out.

All churches are going to 100 percent accept the gay lifestyle. They signed a contract with the IRS, a 501c3 contract, and if you read it, it says and lists all the things a 501c3 corporate church can and cant talk about. The pseudo christians will also 100 percent accept the gays, and be given over to a reprobate mind. Its happening now, the corporate 501c3 churches cower and will not speak against the sodomite abominations. They sold out, and made the state their head.... not the Lord Jesus Christ. Its Gods judgement, praise Jesus Christ !!!!!!!
