I cant even count the number of stuff ive heard called a cult on here worshipin demons an stuff... freemasons mormoms kjv only jehova witnesses ect ect.... it really saddens me how we are spose to be a loving people yet therenis constant name calling an judging an insulting on here of organizations or doctrines that have some things we dont agree with.... some are even based on just pure hersy like the freemason thing...... is this really how you think christ wants his people to be.

We dont got to pretend like we agree with everything they do but we dont have to label them cults ether an talk about them like its just so wrong to be a memeber of one of them.

yes i agree,, when the branch dividians were all on t.v. years ago my wife worked at he school in buffalo Texas,,,several of the people there were from his church.,,,,,(we were not,we were from a non denom.),,,they were co- workers.,,,,,the film the t.v. showed given to them by the f.b.i. where korresh is saying,,,,"i am god'(the clip from the news),,,,, is from a sermon he was giving.

he was preaching a sermon about john1;1-1;14,,,,,,he was saying things of the order,,,,,,"if all things were created by me,and for me then,,,,"i am god",,, he was never saying "i(david koresh) am god",,,,,,,,,,,,he was saying that to christ,,,if he was the creator of all things seen,,then to Christ he would say,,,,,,,,,,,,"i am god",,,,,

its much more important to listen to a preacher from the beginning and then all the way to the end,,,,,than to judge him by "three words",,,,,,,,,,,,,,if the f.b.i.,,,,,went thru the bible and edited out what Jesus said (before and after),,,,,and gave it to the news,,,,Jesus says,,,,"into the fire",,,,,,"destroy the world",,,,,"destroy the law",,,,,,,"none be saved",,,,,,,,,,,,,

better we be preached to by preachers,,,,,,,,,,,instead of t.v. stations and government agencies,,,,,,,,,,,although as i said in the beginning,,,,i am not s.d.a.,,,nor dividian,,,,,,,,,,i just thought "wow they did it to their religion,,,were next",,,,,

Mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses and Freemasons. None of these are Christian belief systems. How is it bad to point this out? I don't see in the bible where we are supposed to be a bunch of peace loving hippies that just accept every unbiblical belief system that comes along. Jesus didn't hesitate to call people out. To call out wrong teachings. As Christians, are we supposed to just sit by and watch people go into wrong teachings. What about in the bible where it says that in the end times many people will be lead astray by 'doctrines of demons', including many believers?
This idea that we just accept everything is founded in a worldly mindset. Jesus reacted to people on a one on one basis when it came to acceptance. But he often railed against false teachers and false teachings. Look at how he treated the pharisees. He didn't just accept them and coddle them and let their false teachings go by. He put them in check, called them out and yes, even called them 'a brood of vipers'. So, show me in the bible, where we are supposed to accept random belief systems that counter what the bible teaches?

While Jesus wants us to love our neighbour, that does not preclude having sound doctrine. I personally try and stick with Bible verses, because the Word of God is powerful.

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

And just to jog your memory, or perhaps inspire you to read Paul's letters, many of them were written as correction for bad doctrine. Galatians in particular comes to mind.

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— [SUP]7 [/SUP]not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. [SUP]8 [/SUP]But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you,let him be accursed. [SUP]9 [/SUP]As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed." Gal. 1:6-9

Paul was certainly concerned about false doctrine creeping into the church and we should not be willing to accept every heresy that someone dreams up. Contrary to popular belief, sound doctrine IS important in the Bible.

"If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness," 1 Tim 6:3

"He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it." Titus 1:9

"But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine." Titus 2:1

Timothy was pastor of Ephesus, a wild town dedicated to Artemis, and Titus was in Crete, which was renowned for mystery religions. Paul encourage both to teach sound doctrine in personal letters. While the Internet is not the Bible, we are exhorted to stand firm for the truth.

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." 1 Cor. 16:13.

We have to watch ourselves that we don't read scripture wrong, we don't misunderstand God. I have watched posters use scripture to 'prove" a point that is clearly against God principles. It takes a humble heart and reading each scripture so it is in line with God characteristics or we can easily misunderstand what God is telling us. Once these arrogant people get an idea in their head, and are Christians not as servants but for their ego, they are impossible to handle.

Satan really does work where God is, to oppose Him. Right now you can read on cc that God is so cruel that he killed all those nice people in the flood, and all those 613 laws God gave the Hebrews were not at aaalll for creating a world where justice, peace and love could be and people could be safe, they were for killing wonderful, nice people, isn't God awful. It is, they say, all part of Judaism, and Christ and Paul were dead set against all of the Father in everything He did.

These people don't simply preach against the kingdom, they almost always let their hate show.

what's the Kingdom Redtent?
613 commandments men pretend they keep?

Love warns of impending danger and doesn't pretend false teaching is neutral. Was Paul 'loving' here?

Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The Mormons, JW, Masons preach another gospel and have another Jesus and should be warned against.
Looking for 'fat' demons in ice cream would be going a little far. Peanut butter ice cream? Yummy.

Mormons have a temple where only the great can enter. (They are an offshoot of masonry.)
Masons have a system of initiates where you are led into the truth(their truth) by degrees.
Jehovah's Witnesses deny the Godhead of Jesus, the only Christ.
You might as well have included the church of Scientology; (L. Ron Hubbard's ridiculous fiasco of a 'religion'.)
These are all extra biblical cults.
Demons lead people astray.

Even better with bacon!!!

Masons are not Christian and they do worship some form of a god. You realize when you start mingling with their inner circle.

You're spelling is atrocious! :p

Have you ever mingled with the inner circle or r you just going along with the conspircys because ive know masons they have nothing to do with religion its not a christian orginization but it aint some evil one in league with mormons like common conspircy says... an even if some of the higer ups of masons or mormons was doing some demonic worrship stuff well thats them but not the orginization as a whole.

That may be true, but what fellowship hath God with belial?
You can't just pass off truth and say, "it's a conspiracy!"
That's what the religious leaders of Jesus' time said about the resurrection - "They made it up!"
Look into Joseph Smith, - (the founder of Mormonism).
He was inducted into Masonry and made a 33rd degree Mason in a matter of just a few months.
If you study the beliefs of both cults, you will see a marked similarity.
Is it easy to make a deal with the devil? (In the short term yes).
But God is not a God of the short term.
He is the God of eternity.
You can't knowingly enter into a contract with Satan, and even if you do unknowingly: it will be accounted against you.

Truth only helps.
Ignorance only hurts.
Grace is grace.
God gives it to His chosen.
