this is not really sodom and gomorrah...these are naturally worn hills that ron wyatt having no actual archaeological training thought were artificially built structures related to sodom and gomorrah...
the -real- sodom and gomorrah actually -have- been found...but they are on the -opposite- side of the dead sea...the sites are known as bab edh-dhra and numeira...

I wonder what happened with the statue of salt of Lot's wife. I always wondered if Lot's wife was of Canaanite origin and born at Sodom. 
That would explain why she disobeyed the angels and why her daughters committed unthinkable abominations with their own father Lot.
Anyway the first great mistake of Lot was to go live in Sodom whereas he knew from the start sodomites were extremely wicked !
I think Lot chose to go to Sodom anyway for greedy purposes because Sodom was a very rich city and it was full of vegetation and it looked as beautiful as the garden of Eden. I suppose Lot chose to get married with a sodomite woman there, hence all the extremely sad consequences...
Lot was deceived by the evil one the same way Eve was. Extremely sad indeed !

According to Wikipedia, archeologists argue that the city there is too small to be Sodom and Gomorrah. So the battle is on. lol. Those windows on that other video sure looked real to me. Of course, I'm no trained archeologist either. But again, according to Wikipedia.... archeologists don't think edh-dhra and numeira are it either...

the main reason for identifying bad edh-dhra and numeira with sodom and gomorrah is the two destruction layers that date twenty years apart and fit the biblical account...
the lower destruction layer is typical...the ash is on the bottom with the rubble on top...meaning the city was burned from the ground and the fires caused wooden structures and supports to collapse...this is what you would expect from a military conquest like the one in genesis 14...
the upper destruction layer is more unusual...the rubble is on the bottom and the ash is on the top...meaning the city was burned from -above- and the structures burned from the top down before finally collapsing...this agrees with the biblical account of fire and brimstone raining down from the sky...
