My invitation only chat group on prophecy is working very well. Why not do the same thing, just start is as a closed group, invite only?

Yeah. There's no way there wouldn't be arguing. People who believe differently are going to head straight in there to dispute it. I've seen suggestions like this before. Not only is there likely to be arguing, it would be thought of as unfair, and people would start wanting forums for each doctrines. You can't give a forum to just one belief set. People who don't believe this will want a forum just to discuss things without hearing about the gifts. Then people who believe in the gifts will go in there and argue. Now instead of the debate in one forum, it will be in three.
