"Christian discernment on real conspiracy, corruption, greed, agendas, etc."

As a believer in biblical things, this is what the wicked do. If a believer reads the "wisdom books" in the Bible, one learns what the wicked are like. How they live, what they do, how they think, etc. There is nothing new under the sun. It's just that the evil world is getting even worse every year that's all. The satanic agenda of globalization has been active for many decades, because the evil forces of this world have been gradually preparing the nations for a major all-out assault against God and the truth itself. That's why they have enticed governments to make unjust laws, create/get involve in unjust wars, etc. If a believer recognizes the hand of God in one's life, the believer can also recognize the hand of evil all around.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

[SUP]11 [/SUP]that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, [SUP]12 [/SUP]that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

Do these verses mean anything to you guys? How do we apply this passage for us today?
They mean a lot to me. Thanks for the reminder.

The Bible mentioned the conspiracy and laid it all out very clearly? The devil and other rebel angels were sentenced to earth. That's why Jesus said "...woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short." Rev. 12:12
God gave us instructions for how to live on the earth and survive while it is under spiritual attack. Most people only see the human events, but those who are trained by God can see the pitfalls but imperfection is the illness that enables us to trip and fall into worldly attitudes, thinking, and behavior. That is why we must stay close to what Christ taught us, practice and live in love the way he did. We must imitate the intimacy that Christ shares with his Father, YHWH (Jehovah) with them and each other. God promised to put an end to the current wicked system of things and preserve all who are genuinely serving him from the heart and not taking sides in the worlds affairs. God's people follow and obey the authorities that God "allows" to exist. We prove that we are God's people by being obedient to his ways and that includes being good citizens. God will correct the leaders who abuse or misuse the authority given to them. Christ didn't take up arms against the authorities of his time. He did speak out about the wrong that some did. Christ's father, used earthly authority in many ways to accomplish his own will. Look up King David, Solomon, etc. Also, notice how leaders have been punished by God when they did not lead according to HIS will.
The rebel angels/demons have one goal, to cause as many to turn against God and disobey him so that they lose their place in God's Kingdom. Christ sacrifice gave us opportunity, not a guarantee. Beware of the ways of the world because we are all exposed and influenced by satan. Following God's commands and his son Christ Jesus life example, is our only way to not get caught up in the worlds dysfunction (greed, selfishness, corruption and conspiracies)

I don't believe many "conspiracy theories"
Thanks for allowing this category, RoboOp, and let me add my $AU0.02 to what you posted from Zone.

People are indeed waking up to the wickedness around them, and realizing that its happening so often and in such coordinated ways, these things can't be a coincidence. Such people try to invent ways to combat this evil by themselves, and turn to things such as revolutionary leaders/systems of government, new age practices, aliens, Zeitgeist (or whatever they call themselves) etc. etc. but without Christ, they just fall deeper into the devil's trap.

My own belief is that (and I know God is ultimately in control, and nothing can happen without his permission), the devil wants to make the existing system so bad that everyone deserts it, or hates it, so that when he offers his alternative, everyone will think of him as a saviour and accept what he offers. I think this has happened because Christians, and our nations in general, have not obeyed the Lord our God, and have wandered into sin like the Israelites did before us, throughout their history.

If more Christians only knew as lies the deceptions that we are taught and inundated with every day, they could present Jesus as another alternative to these desperate people, and some of them would be able to see the designs of the devil, and escape exactly where he doesn't want them to - to Jesus. As it is, many Christians just mock as imaginary what some of these non-Christians realise is happening, and these non-Christians have no idea of the need for them to repent, so chase the next level of the devil's deception (usually aliens or other "new-age" cults).

I can see that you don't want to be branded a conspiracy theorist and I certainly don't think you are one, but am grateful that you had an open enough mind to allow this category. :)

P.S. I doubt any conspiracy theorist worth his salt would form a conspiracy theory about you guys. I know there are a lot of crazies out there, but they are usually easy to pick. This is, of course, assuming that you're not doing anything for us to form a conspiracy theory about... Are you? ;) And if ever you think I am making the forum too loony, please feel free to let me know. :D

thank you for finally recognizing that conspiracy theory very often leads to new age nonsense...at least one person here hasn't been honest enough to admit that fact...

however the truth is that conspiracy theory so often leads people into the new age movement because the new age movement is the most quintessential expression of the postmodern deconstructionist worldview that underlies conspiracy theory...there is so much intermingling between conspiracy theory and the new age movement because they go hand in hand under the same epistemological umbrella...

I'f you had more than sufficient knowledge on the inner workings, then you get it.Not everybody has had there eyes opened to the inner workings, in a way that can seen for what it is.I'f you have known anybody, especially in your family that was involved in any of this then you know how real and awful it is.Disbelieve is a very desirable goal being achieved easily by the masses of blind. But, Christ should be our main goal not conspiracies.

People believe in conspiracies because there are conspiracies all around us. They're happening every day. All Christians believe in conspiracies, even if they don't realise it. The biggest conspiracy is the one Satan tempted Eve with in Eden - that man can be like God, without God (I suppose technically, this might not be a conspiracy if only Satan was involved, but he's certainly not the only one now). Its the conspiracy from which all other conspiracies are born. Creation/Evolution is another conspiracy. Has anyone researched where Darwin got his money from? Not all evolutionists believe what they say they do. I believe Satan has deliberately constructed conspiracies, some of them to fail, to lead people away from God.

Often-times, the reason conspiracy theorists turn to the new age movement is because they see through the first layer of the devil's conspiracies. Things like government agendas (911 attacks, endless war for profit and Israel etc. etc.) However, when they turn to Christians for advice, often, Christians haven't even seen through the first layer, and are very trusting of their own governments, and believe the new state of Israel to be fulfillment of scripture, etc. etc. ("The people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind, than are the children of the light"). So these people think "Wow. Christians don't even understand what is going on in the world today. They certainly can't be right about Jesus" - or to paraphrase our Master ("if you don't understand Earthly things, how will you understand Heavenly things"). So they turn to the next layer of conspiracies, which is new age cult sort of stuff. And because this stuff is often true (in that there are real demons with real powers, who aren't squeamish about prostituting their powers to gain some new converts), these people become deceived by the next layer of conspiracy, and further from Christ.

Look at how many evolutionists have turned to Jesus because Christians have seen through the conspiracy of evolution? Now how many of these people do you think would have repented, if Christians had said "Yeah, evolution is true, God could have used evolution in Genesis"? In the same way using the truth has worked to combat the conspiracy of evolution, it can be used to combat all conspiracies, for the glory of God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. [SUP]3 [/SUP]Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. [SUP]5 [/SUP]And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. [SUP]6 [/SUP]And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. [SUP]7 [/SUP]But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. [SUP]8 [/SUP]For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

[SUP]9 [/SUP]To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; [SUP]10 [/SUP]To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: [SUP]11 [/SUP]But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For the body is not one member, but many. [SUP]15 [/SUP]If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? [SUP]16 [/SUP]And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? [SUP]17 [/SUP]If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? [SUP]18 [/SUP]But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. [SUP]19 [/SUP]And if they were all one member, where were the body? [SUP]20 [/SUP]But now are they many members, yet but one body. [SUP]21 [/SUP]And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: [SUP]23 [/SUP]And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. [SUP]24 [/SUP]For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. [SUP]25 [/SUP]That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. [SUP]26 [/SUP]And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. [SUP]28 [/SUP]And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. [SUP]29 [/SUP]Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? [SUP]30 [/SUP]Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? [SUP]31 [/SUP]But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

I couldn't decide on which verses to quote, as they are all so good. So I posted them all. We are not all called to serve Christ in the same way, but we are all called to serve Him. One body - many parts.

thank you for finally recognizing that conspiracy theory very often leads to new age nonsense...at least one person here hasn't been honest enough to admit that fact...

seems you have arrived on your opinion a bit too haste and too precipitate...exposing satan's debauchery in and by the Spirit of God has always been and will be a part of ministry as long as the gospel is preached...remember, the key here is the Spirit of God, and not self inflicted ideas/gossips/interests

go around and check this forum...about 99 percent of all the troubles will have conspiracy roots, but people just tend to address the fruits...they just float around and question the surface rather than an indepth search...call it world affairs, national interests, community welfare, financial issues, family feuds, employment issues, marriage counseling, inter-faith/denomination debates, impending spiritual growth, end time addressals, Christ's return...the only reason why so many conflicting debates/questions are out there is because of insomnia...they just think they are wide awake to their problems but in fact, are just sleep walking...they dont see it coming for their own sakes, leave alone being watchmen for God

and regarding new age movement, it cannot and will not be able to hijack a true Christian any more than islam and hinduism can...but yes, knowing the new age movement as a part of conspiracy may save some for sure...and knowing it was vatican that invented islam and streamlined hinduism as a part of its global agenda will help others too

in scriptures...read through prophets and apostles...once truth is established, all they did was to expose corruption and to awaken people...it started in Genesis and will only end in Revelation with the advent of God's kingdom...till then, it is every Christian's responsibility to be awake to every vile and guile of satan

I have a story to tell you all, I am a christian. I decided when i was 18 to serve our country. I was in the Army under the 1-110th INF MECH. Shortly after basic training i felt a small lump in my right shoulder. it was soar for about a month and then it quit hurting, at the time i didn't think much of it. I served my time and got out honorably. About a year ago my fiancee asked what the lump in my shoulder was, i told her i didnt know and that it thought it was a cyst. for some unknown reason she stuck a magnet to my shoulder. THE MAGNET STUCK TO ME LIKE I WAS A FRIDGE!! and it hurt beyond belief! I was really freaked out about it. I told her i was going to go see the doctor about it and see if there was something there and possibly get it cut out. we went to bed....the next morning i woke up and the lump was gone, completely gone....I dont know what this was or how something magnetic got into my shoulder but its moved on its own and i don't know what to do about it because i don't know where it is in my body. Anyone have any advice for me or possibly an explanation?

I like the compartmentalized pyramid structure view like what’s in the military. The captain doesn’t know everything the major knows and so on up the chain of command. The higher up the evil structure the more is known. And of course hidden from view at the top to give the illusion he doesn’t exist and actually rule all the nations sits Satan with his ultimate agenda. He deceives and keeps in the dark all those below who work for him. Only the men who work directly under him near the top actually know he exists. At the mid-high to lower levels it’s all about money and greed, but at the higher levels it’s all about control since they create and control the money. The higher levels want the masses at the lower levels to limit human motives to greed, thus blaming everything on some flaw of human nature and not some grand scheme from an invisible devil at the top to enslave and eventually destroy humanity.

I’ve notice back in 2006, when the Internet was still relatively uncontrolled by the mega corporations who are the mid-high to high level of the evil structure, that most of the initiatives to expose conspiracies and high-level corruption came by genuine grassroots independent efforts from people who were almost all believers in Christ, whether it was government false flag, to poisoning populations, to private control of the money system etc… Then as they became more popular because of the exponential growth of the Internet, the minions of Satan came in…. opponents of truth and the Lord. They began to take over with the aid of high-level financial backing to launch phony grassroots movements like Zeitgeist and the Venus Project who are atheists and New Age Mother Earth worshippers. The evil powers used their money power to infiltrate and take over leadership of these efforts with their agents and/or buy off those who were weak thus co-opting the honest efforts that were exposing high-level conspiracies and corruption.

Now that the Internet is almost completely taken over by the mega corporations who own all the social media, youtube, google etc and believe it or not, many Christian websites (believers are Satan’s #1 interest)… it’s now almost impossible to get the truth about anything without getting redirected through disinformation

Conspiracy is only a word used to discredit legitimate facts or rational opinions.
Truth be told America is probably having the worst dis-info spread inside it then any other country in the world.

calling someone a conspiracy theorist or dismissing something because someone labeled it a "conspiracy theory" is a logical fallacy. Its an attack on the man and doesn't address the information brought at hand. It puts your decision before your logic, thus taking the trivium method out of order. Anyways, the bible is full of contradictions. Its man made. A book written over 300 years after the assumed death of Christ. Almost every story found in the bible can be found throughout history in religions long predating Christianity. There are no contradictions in nature. When you look out your window and you see a dog, the trees, the birds, you know those are things that God made. When you look at the bible you see it is a book. Something man made. It is a religion among many religions and to say one has the answers and all the millions of people on this earth who aren't Christian will burn in hell is sick. But again this is all over a book that was written after the assumed life of Christ and translated, edited, given to the Vatican, re edited, and so on. It was put in play for political power and the inquisition followed with years of Christian bloodshed killing 10s of thousands of people who refused to follow the new religious doctrines. Do not forget we took this land in America from Indians who were NOT Christian and we stole their land, killed them, raped their women and asserted our beliefs. told them what they believed was not the truth and ours was right and we will just kill you anyway. Christianity has a long history of bloodshed and that, nor anything Ive stated is "conspiracy theory". All fact. and im not just some guy whos never studied the bible or the judeo Christian text like the dead sea scrolls. my grandfather was a Baptist preacher and I was raised in church. every sunday, sunday night, Wednesday night, revival week, VBS all that. jr church. you name it.. but if you never ask any questions you will never learn that its all designed to control you. that's why it was put in play in the beginning! they commited genocide on that general populous for not believing!
