Well, at least you're a P and not a J.
Being a ENFJ is horrible in my experience.

Well I wouldn't know. I've never been an ENFJ.

One thing that bugs me is that I'm extremely tall in addition to having an… erm… "outgoing" personality. And I think that makes me intimidating, and probably "unfeminine". Which of course becomes an issue with the opposite sex. I kid you not when I tell you that the last two people to show interest in me were mentally off balance. Which makes the traditional "boy pursues girl" situation highly unlikely for me.

OooOoookay!

I think everyone has something that they despise about their personality. What's 'comforting' to know is that everyone else has their pit falls as well- just different ones. I remember that when I begin to wish I had another personality. For me my pitfalls have to do with romantic interest. Having a crush is bad news bears for me :s Also trouble with friendships.

I agree with that, at least in part. There isn't anything I can think of off the top of my head that I outright despise about my personality. Instead I have multiple things that have a downside as well as an upside that sort of converge at inopportune times. To some people I'm "weird" (pronounced in a short manner, usually in a low voice; different from "weird: positive sense"), "loud", "obnoxious", and "annoying/immature". That hurts. I am either knowingly or unknowing trying to entertain you because that's habitually how I make friends.

Friends are my tender spot… a "weakness", if you will.
But ask somebody else and suddenly I'm "witty", "weird" (positive meaning, usually pronounced in a state of laughter, and therefore sounding like "WEEHEeheEHEEEEird"), or "hysterical", or "earthy" and "confident". (Or more neutral, nonspecific words are used, like "crazy", "insane", "looney", "special", and "bizarre".)

Sort of related to mbti: in an interview Jim Carrey mention that he will use the enneagram to get into certain characters when acting. He'll type them and I guess play through their personality.

That's interesting. I've been wondering what his type is, though I haven't actually taken the time to check.

I don't know many tall women (at least, not as tall as me), so I wouldn't know.

well God made you that way so don't ever fret about it. Besides I can't think of a boy or man in this generation that has a problem with a tall girl. It's usually the girl has a problem with a short guy.

LOL in theory, yes.
But my experience had proven boisterous and tall is an apparently intimidating combination.

I guess it depends on the guy then. If they're ready for it, it wouldn't be a problem. But if they are thinking and are too self-conscious then yeah it'll probably be a problem. I dunno, I think there are a few guys I know besides myself that wouldn't mind a tall loud girl at all, but then again... it could just be you :p

That's true, every personality type has it's advantages and disadvantages. There is no perfect personality. If we were all the same, there would be things left undone, both in the phsyical world and the spiritual world. :)

I agree with arwen. One the blessings of my personality type is being able to "see" people...and one of the downfalls of my personality type is being able to "see" people. :( I also wish I was not as stubborn as I am, but I am also thankful for it because it has been a lifesaver on many occasions.

"if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body."

^^Rachel's post and those verses remind me of the recent discussions about value and worth I've seen in the forums. If an eye is determined to be an ear... it probably won't do as much seeing as it would if it tried to be the very best eye that it could be. :)

I am an ENFJ... but a fairly mild EN and J. I am very much a feeler... too much. My bf is and ENTJ. Similar to me, very mild on everything though a little more of a moderate E.
