In the course of studying the Bible I have found that the Ten Commandments are a summary of the detailed moral law given to Moses at the same time. The law needs to be seen in three parts.
1. The sacrificial law - fulfilled by Jesus Christ; we no longer need to burn sacrifices in a temple made by man - we are the temple.
2. The Moral law - We are responsible as believers in Jesus Christ to reciprocate according to the law given to Moses. When we see that we fall short, in order to escape judgment, repentance and forgiveness are necessities through Jesus Christ. It is true that it is impossible through the carnal mind to keep it, but that is not an excuse to neglect our carnal, sinful state by saying the law is obsolete.
3. The judgmental law - No one can escape this except through Jesus Christ. This is why the New Testament says we are no longer under the law when we believe in Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, there are still sins we need to die to on a daily basis and the law is our guide to enlighten us as to what we need to repent of and what we need to confess.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Without repentance and confession we are under the law whether we think we are or not. Repentance and confession is the cross Jesus commanded us to bear. When we repent and confess, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ carries the condemnation of the law. This is the description that just begins to scratch the surface of the depth of the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Galatians 4:4-5 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Luke 9:23-24 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Matthew 5:17-18 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

some love to spy out our liberty and drag us away from Grace.
.
That's correct.
Jude 4
For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The lewdness/lust spoken of in Jude 4 is lust to fornicate with Hagar/righteousness by works of the law (Gal 4:24). And this is what we see in doctrines that claim that grace and faith enables people to obey the law perfectly.

Fulfill doesn't mean make void. The Law stands forever.
who said VOID?

you don't listen.

CHRIST fulfilled the Law perfectly.

there is a Righteousness FROM GOD apart from (fully separate from; distinct from; not based on) THE LAW.
though The Law & The Prophets bear witness to it.

it's the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF HIM WHO DID FULFILL THE LAW
AND
became a curse under the Law.

though He knew NO SIN.

you do have sin.
so what are you going to rely on?

your perfomance under the Law as a Lawbreaker?

or the Righteousness APART from the Law, the righteousness IMPUTED to us by FAITH in The Son of God?

The Law stands forever - fulfilled by and in Christ.

it'll judge all outside Christ on that DAY.

what about Thou Shalt not murder?
can a Christian murder and say he has no conviction from the Spirit to REPENT and seek forgiveness for the innocent blood on his hands?

Tainted response in my esteem. Reread all of the post you are replying to. As for false accusation, reread what you have stated, and do not drop the "we" you have used in your posting. The Kingdom is an Absolute Monarchy, and I am so very thankful it is, for the King is Love, amen.

I don't deny any of it. That is a false accusation made against those who realize that our righteousness is not realized through observation of the 10 commandments. Righteousness is a gift within that teaches us which way to go.

What I and others do deny is the need to focus on the 10 commandments. IMO, the people who feel a need to do that are those who don't hear the voice of righteousness in their hearts instructing them how to conduct themselves.

Jesus sure has taken an interest in my life,, I can't imagine Him not caring about yours. But,, you have obviously heard of the 7th day Sabbath.. I think we can both agree that you have had some knowledge about it..Have you collected all the data that you could before making a decision,, or did you decide off the top of your head that it don't apply to you?
When you are dead will society's laws mean anything to you?

Your reply seems to confirm the suspicions raised on this thread that you preach works of the law for salvation.

Clearly under the doctrine you follow, the thief on the cross was truly blessed with a deathbed salvation. That thief didn't have to go through life, like the rest of us, hoping to obey the law perfectly to the end, for salvation's sake.

The doctrine you follow has corrupted your mind from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Cor 11:3
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Under grace we see there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ.

But under the doctrine you follow, we see the same old condemnation and death through the law as we saw in the old covenant.

The thief on the cross who called Jesus "Lord" understood the simplicity that is in the gospel of grace.

But the doctrine you follow has turned God's grace into a way to lead you back under the law seeking to be perfected by the flesh.

We cannot mix grace with works of the law.
Rom 11:6
if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

The theif on the cross is saved because he had a repentant heart. He also believed Jesus was the Messiah. In short,, between the time the thief was arrested and placed on a cross next to Jesus, he had come to believe that not only was Jesus the Messiah, but that he was sorry for the sins that had placed him on a cross next to Jesus.

Personally, I admire that theif! What a Blessing to die while being nex't to Jesus!!!

You can believe whatever you want of me. I see what is coming. I know the hardships that will be put upon those who Keep the 7th Day Sabbath. What we are seeing here is only a preview of the rage that Satan displays against those who keep the Commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus. It will get much, much worse. So,, my feet are on firm foundation.

"He that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18

"Keep My Commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee." proverbs 3:1,2.

Ah yes... the idolatry of imagined obedience.
Imagined?

James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

John 14:15 "If you love me, obey my commandments."

As is apparent in these scriptures, your accusation of idolatry through "imagined" disobedience is entirely invalid.

Will somebody enlighten me on why we disagree on the format of the Old and New Testament purpose?
Colossians 1:12-20 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
[SUP]16 [/SUP]For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Now if one TRULY considers this scripture and TRULY believes in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as One, why on earth do we take bits and pieces of scripture and use them to subtly separate the God of creation from Jesus Christ? What do you suppose our father in heaven is thinking about our arguments? According to the scripture I posted our Lord and Savior was there on Mt Sinai with Moses giving him the law, and on the mount of Transfiguration Moses was with Jesus giving Him the priesthood through the tribe of Judah. If we separate the context of His Word given to us, we fail to understand the purpose of this dynamic plan of salvation that was instigated before creation.
John 17:5 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

please do tell.

who is going to persecute you? the Pope?

throughout the entire NEW TESTAMENT, every single important thing the Lord and the Apostles did, beginning with the Glorious Resurrection was on the FIRST day of the week.

also, could you tell me what is the 8th day?
is there such a day?

what's the significance of the 8th day?

That explains it. That's all you see because that's all you're looking for.

Galations 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

"If ye Love Me, keep My Commandments." My words say I love Jesus,, and my actions prove it.
So. Are you basing your salvation (and the salvation of others) on how well you do this. Are you teaching one will lose salvation if they do not do this to some standard?

there is a hige difference by doing it out of true love and faith, and out of a hope it will save you.

Why do you refuse to answer this question?

yes, Proverbs has much wisdom for the Christian.

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction.

18. no vision—instruction in God's truth, which was by prophets, through visions (1Sa 3:1).

people perish—(Compare Margin), are deprived of moral restraints.

keepeth the law—has, and observes, instruction (Pr 14:11, 34; Ps 19:11).

I'm not hijacking the thread. If you want to start a new thread about the mark of the beast ect... I may post about it there. But this thread is more about the 10 Commandments and keeping them. So, with all due respect,, I will refrain from answering at this time.

Fulfill doesn't mean make void. The Law stands forever.
No Fullfill means if you want to get to heaven by the law. You MUST FULLFILL it yourself.

have you done this?
Can you do this?
Will you ever be able to do this??

There obviously is no eighth day. What about the sabbath law disqualifies it from "if you love Me, keep my commandments?" Clearly, God specified the sabbath as to be kept on the 7th day of the week. You think that was accident on His part, and inconsequential oversight? When did you ever see in scriptures God say anything inconsequential?
