No Fullfill means if you want to get to heaven by the law. You MUST FULLFILL it yourself.

have you done this?
Can you do this?
Will you ever be able to do this??
This is a continuous circular argument. This issue of earning your way to heaven has been addressed and readdressed on a continual basis in here. Once again, everyone that keeps the 7th day sabbath in here has said they are saved by grace and works prove their faith. Do you not murder your irritating neighbor so you can earn your way to heaven? We keep the commandments because we LOVE our savior who by His grace and sacrifice, saved us from our sin.

Imagined?
James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
John 14:15 "If you love me, obey my commandments."
As is apparent in these scriptures, your accusation of idolatry through "imagined" disobedience is entirely invalid.
Imagined obedience is going through motions that makes one feel one is being obedient, but GOD is not pleased.

There obviously is no eighth day. What about the sabbath law disqualifies it from "if you love Me, keep my commandments?" Clearly, God specified the sabbath as to be kept on the 7th day of the week. You think that was accident on His part, and inconsequential oversight? When did you ever see in scriptures God say anything inconsequential?
Could you please document the New Testament commanding Saturday Sabbath (or any single day of rest) for Christians?

God is not pleased that I do what His son asked me to do? To keep His commandments?

Whom did He say He was pleased with?

or His Beloved Son?

could you document Jesus commanding us to keep Saturday (7th day) Sabbath?
His chosen apostles should teach it as well.

where is it?
it ought to be explicit.

there are NT lists of sins that will send ppl to hell - sabbath isn't in any of those lists.

CHRIST IS THE SABBATH.

In the course of studying the Bible I have found that the Ten Commandments are a summary of the detailed moral law given to Moses at the same time. The law needs to be seen in three parts.
1. The sacrificial law - fulfilled by Jesus Christ; we no longer need to burn sacrifices in a temple made by man - we are the temple.
2. The Moral law - We are responsible as believers in Jesus Christ to reciprocate according to the law given to Moses. When we see that we fall short, in order to escape judgment, repentance and forgiveness are necessities through Jesus Christ. It is true that it is impossible through the carnal mind to keep it, but that is not an excuse to neglect our carnal, sinful state by saying the law is obsolete.
3. The judgmental law - No one can escape this except through Jesus Christ. This is why the New Testament says we are no longer under the law when we believe in Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, there are still sins we need to die to on a daily basis and the law is our guide to enlighten us as to what we need to repent of and what we need to confess.
I think you have this sort of out of order.

1. The moral law, as given to moses and includes the ten commands. Prove we have failed to keep this law.
2. The judgmental law. The penalty of sin is death, thus all who have failed to keep number 1. are judged by this law as guilty and rightly condemned.
3. The sacrificial law. Those who are judged rightly by number 2 because they failed to keep number one, can only be redeemed by this law. the law of sacrifice of innocence.

all three of these point us to christ.

1. we failed
2. Condemns us
3. Shows us Gods love as Christ did what the law could not do. and he paid the debt in full, his blood for our sin.

Col 2: 13 -14 [SUP]13 [/SUP]And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, [SUP]14 [/SUP]having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

why do people want to go back to the moral law. when we have already failed to keep it, and are unable to keep it in a way which God demands (perfection) when Paul tells us plainly, God forgave us all tresspasses (breaking moral law0 and took away the cirtificate of debt against us(the judgmental law) by nailing it to the cross 9the sacrificial law?

Are you kidding? You think the New Testament isn't about the Old? You think Jesus needed to verse by verse repeat them for His audience when He said they would never pass away? If that's your thinking, there's no point in addressing this.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. From Exodus 20

How about you show me anywhere in the NT Christ said that law no longer applies, that it's been dropped or nullified in any way.

You said Christ is our sabbath, which in a manner of speaking is true, but that does not nullify His commandment. Only He has the authority to do that. And He said this commandment is eternal.

what about Thou Shalt not murder?
can a Christian murder and say he has no conviction from the Spirit to REPENT and seek forgiveness for the innocent blood on his hands?

Poor Saul and David.. guess they have no hope. they murdered many!

If you observe law at the expense of faith, then no, GOD is not pleased with you.
That is crazy. At the expense of faith? I'll lose my faith if I keep His commandments? Are you a troll?

Yes, I sure do,, Jesus is a wonderful Lord to serve.

"He that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18

lol. How happy can one be if they do not know if they will make it to heaven or not. And all hinges on how well they keep the law? And how can one know unless they know what amount of obedience is good, and what is bad. what is the cut off??

if I was you I would live in fear. Fear I would mess up enough that God says never mind. I am taking my gift back, because you failed to live up to my standard!

That explains it. That's all you see because that's all you're looking for.

Galations 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
oh shiloah.
first of all, i wasn't addressing YOU.
there you going again.

do you go to bed angry holding grudges dear?
calm your show.

Let me get this straight. So we're not to do what He said and not keep His commandments? If we do, then we're not pleasing God because we're doing it at the expense of our faith because we're doing it so we can boast? Are you kidding? That's the most confusing logic I've ever seen applied to the simple request, "if you love Me, keep My commandments."

Question sis.

Can you explain how much work is No works? Is it one? ten? 50? 100? 1000? Where is the cut off between works and no works which would prove a faith had life?

Can you explain how much faith is a dead faith? does a dead faith have any life at all??

Huge difference to strive to keep God's commandments because one is justified than to do same in order to try to become justified. Dunno why so many people still don't get that.

That's another low blow... Shiloah isn't angry,, you make these claims and decide they are true,, like he goes to bed angry and that he holds grudges. That's very condescending and really not needed. Don't cha think?

I don't care if you were addressing me or not, I'm happy to respond to you. Personal grudges? Personal? Oh yeah. With you, it's always about your personal little warfare directed at other Christians, making it personal. I have to always remember that when addressing you.

Can not one who boasts of earning the right to be children of God by how good they are be saved?

How much of Not of works LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST.. or how much of Abraham was NOT found by works, lest he have the ABILITY to boast does it take?

was not paul talking baout the work he did after he was born again. Saying he can not even boast about that? even though he EARNS rewards for this work (as apposed to salvation?)
