*peeks in & looks around laffin' his buns off*

I couldn't resist..one last time. I came on to retrieve some more of my PM's shared over the months I've been on,just things I wanted to always have...some conversations I was very blessed by,as a memento of sorts before I am unable to access my account here any longer.

..and I couldn't resist the temptation to come to my old stomping ground of "Derailer's", just to see what's been happening.
I still can't decide if I am shocked or bewildered (wait are those the same, kinda?) at seeing this thread turn into Cosmetology 101. I think it's a good thing though. Nice to finally see some other people posting more regularly.
And for the record...I used to have hair as long as,if not longer than your's Shour..and it took me 3 Gatorade cap sized blobs to condition my mop. Not to mention I used to go through a bottle of Mendex by Roux to make sure those pesky split ends couldn't survive! lol Short hair for me isn't seemingly much cheaper to maintain, seeing as now what I don't spend on things like shampoo & conditioners..I now spend on haircuts because my hair grows so quickly. If it were up to my hairstylist, she's have me in there every 3 weeks minimum. So I pay her basically to lecture me when she cuts my hair. $20 for the cut & a $5 tip.

Anyways, that's that. I guess all my plans for an epic post farewell have gone up in smoke. LOL
I suppose you can say this was it. I realized an epic farewell post was a bit ridiculous & not needed. The people who really know me,know my heart...the people who don't..well,...meh. LOL It's all good.

God is faithful, true, wonderful & beyond merciful in His love & compassion.
In the end, living for Him is all that matters.
People's opinions & feeling come & go...but He is everlasting.

Much blessings to all who see this...& may God continue to show you all His perfect plan for your lives.
Keep your hearts & eyes on Him,and it will all work out.
If it doesn't...well,too bad. He's still worthy of our praise!
Peace out!
Oh no...what happened, Tore??? :(

I hope you still get to read this message...i was surprised when you were no longer in my friends list. I thought you unfriended me or something...it got me really upset and worried. I tried to PM you, but it says i couldn't...

I'm very sad right now, finding out just today that you're leaving...why, brother?? I wish you didn't have to go...you are one of the very few people here in CC that i consider as very dear friends. I ran to you when i had such painful struggles...i wish that this is just a joke!!! Couldn't help but cry...

Whatever the reason is, i'll be praying for you, Tore. Please take care always, my awesome brother in Christ!! If you really have to go, i wish there was still a way to reach you outside of CC. GOD bless you, and move with might and power in your life!!! May HIS light shine fully upon you, HIS love embrace and fill you, and HIS peace and joy overwhelm you!!! I love you, dear brother in Christ!!!

I'm at work. Eating grapes for breakfast.

Pretty much every morning I get up early, the night before I think "I'm gonna get up right at my first alarm and eat a real breakfast and this and that" and then when that time comes...I just hit the snooze button and think, "Eh...I'll do it tomorrow."

I'm a horrible getter-upper in the morning. I hit the snooze button at least 3 times or more. I need to break that habit. I'm sure when/if I get married, my husband wouldn't appreciate that. :p

Rachel- my hubby is a snooze-button-pusher, and I'm sooo not. Not that I use an alarm clock anymore (I don't need one, the kiddos wake me up pretty effectively, and they don't have snooze buttons...actually, come to think of it, if I COULD push "snooze" on these kids, I totally would...hmm)

OH, yeah, I was saying...my husband hits snooze up to 5 or 6 times sometimes. And I wake up EVERY TIME, and I'm like, "Just set the stupid thing for an hour later if you don't wanna get up that early!"

Who knew alarm clocks and snooze buttons could be a source of marital discord?
(Note: really, it's not a big deal...it's actually pretty funny.)

I advise marrying someone who also is a snooze-button person
:p

I get up with my kids make them breakfast and just doddle around. Unless we have something to do, but if we don't I find it so hard to get motivated. I used to hit the snooze but like MissCris my kids are the roosters and I have to get up.

I ate grapes for breakfast too. I'm also horrible about getting up in the morning. Grogginess is my companion for a good 15 minutes.

Life is good! I just got back from music camp and it went really well. I spent two days catching up on sleep. :D

rachel, you're not alone. I am horribly guilty of attacking the snooze button wayyyy too many times. :p

I gotta stop sleeping in. I have a houseguest arriving in 24 hours, and I have a gig in two days. I have things to do! (Mainly cleaning and practicing.)

Nice to see you all up and at 'em, though. *Nods at Creesten, Ames, Rach, Fenner, LNF*

Did DED split with Jim and Rose, too, or what?

So, I gotta ask...Shour, why am I always "Creesten"? It doesn't bother me or anything, I just wonder why :p

Because that's how I say it in my head. I do not know why. But it is what I do. >_<
