And God has a double edged sword and came to not bring peace but this sword doubled edged, dividing Soul and Spirit, and only when one see no religion and follows no man, that one follows God the creator of all through Christ we are saved, and not religion as is what Christ went against was religion and ate with who?
Not the Pharisees or the ones that dressed themselves up as better than others
Galatians 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Who is Justified in this Parable
[h=3]Luke 18:9-13[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

re·li·gion
/riˈlijən/
Noun
The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods.
Details of belief as taught or discussed.
Synonyms
faith - belief - creed - denomination

Christianity falls under both definitions. So god hates christianity?
Archaic original definition = What am I doing to get a deity or deities to respond to me
Now if I ever get God to respond to me by what I am doing or not, then that would make me God of God
Creation does not initiate for creation is not God
God is the creator, the initiator, I am the creation
So what makes more sense here to be a responder to the creator or be a creator of the creator?

So have you gotten your heart transplant yet, the brain of God comes with the transplant, god's doing not anyone elses, by belief and nothing else, and what a joy that is found even while in adversities here on earth. Been Shot, Stabbed, Choke to death, been off a bridge in a dune-buggy, head fits into a river, shallow, while the song stairway to heaven was playing and the police report said the dune-buggy had to be pushed off no one could have driven it off and lived, yet there were four of us that lived through it. My head almost decapitated as a tire Machine blew up in my face, knocked out teeth and busted my jaw and hands as my hands got in the way taking the tire, the hold down cone, diverting it off my face, had this not happened then my head would have been taken clean off, in the way it wrapped me under my chin. The tire went from my face to the top of the gasoline station and busted out a light, and a nurse happened to be pumping gas at the very same time and came and gave me medical assistance, and went to the Davis Hospital in California.
Then the latest tragedy, foreigners gangrene, parts cut off and am now disabled because other things took effect as well, degenerative arthritis of the hip.

Now how many will still praise God? How many will stay with belief? Oh it is one thing to be healed and have praise, quit another to have praise still, when not healed or lose parts
Anyway, to all God's glory forever I would rather be well in Soul and Spirit than flesh, that is going to physically die one day
I just know what I know and the last episode has taken the most out of me, has really tried to stop my Faith in God. But has not.
If this were you would it stop you? Even though something along your road has stopped you
Love to you and all to go well for you I pray

It can be both a perceived relationship and religion, but it will always be religion.
However, it is God that has brought the relationship of friendship and love to all the world
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

This is done at the death at the cross of Christ, he haw in his Fathers sight taken away the sin that caused death first and foremost. Then Christ was risen and is risen from the grave by Father in order for us to see new life that Father came to give us through his only one Son. Father sees me, you and all who believe as forgiven, then one gets new life in the Spirit(Thoughts) of God and shows love to all, no sects, cults and or religions
A personal relationship, which you seem a little grey on, praying for you and ask you to pray for me.

My opinion of god? He's an idiot who cannot show himself except to a few divine relations. Yea we're the fools for not believing...

Not like he can't just, you know, show himself to everyone? And you know, update the bible himself? Hmmm

You know, I thought you were different. I thought you were respectful. I thought you were going to be a person I could have a decent discussion with. This post of yours proves me wrong. You are just a troll.

God has showed himself to me, not physically but through the things he has done for me. To many things in my life have happened that I could just brush off as coincidence. You are still young my friend, I pray God will speak to your heart someday.

[h=2]2 Peter 3:9[/h]
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

It didn't work well for the people of Israel. They had God in the form of a pillar of smoke and fire, leading them during the night and day. Then Moses travelled to the top of Mount Sinai where God's holiness was made manifest. Just below, the people created their own god, a golden calf and worshipped it. Goes to show that humanity is fickle and having God physically appear to us, doesn't guarantee that everyone will believe and do the right thing.

I'm going to tell you what a friend of mine on another Christian site told me. Once you hang around enough of these atheists for long enough, you'll have a jaded view of them like me. Not necessarily inaccurate, but jaded.

In other words you don't really know.
He does know. He said if he tells you, you just won't believe him. It's the same with all atheists. They don't care enough to check things out for themselves. They just sit back and make accusations. When people demand that you prove there is no God, you just say you don't have to. Why would that be? You assume your position is a given without proof? Yet you know nothing beyond what you've learned in books, seen on TV, and heard throughout your life. In other words, everything you think you know is based on hearsay evidence, and even that is interpreted by way of your senses, of which you cannot prove interpret even that accurately.

What is really interesting about an atheist's argument that God doesn't prove Himself to them; and hence, He must not exist, is that if God is real, He remains real no matter what qualification an atheist demands of Him. Because an atheist claims that if God does not exist if He does not do this or that, or that God does not exist because the existence of God cannot be proven by man, this has anything whatsoever to do with whether God actually exists or not. That's just a qualification set up by an atheist. If God chooses to reveal Himself to us in other ways, or anyway He chooses or even doesn't, for that matter, God still exists if He exists. An atheist is fool enough to assume God can't possibly exist because God doesn't meet an atheist's criteria for what exists? The argument that God doesn't meet some criteria an atheist lays down to prove God exists is ridiculously illogical in the first place. At least it's always about, if God exists, why does He do this or that or why doesn't He do this or that? It's always the same faulty reasoning. Because He doesn't? There might well be a good reason, in fact, I'm sure there is. But that still has nothing to do with His existence.

Certainly you should understand that there's a difference between the bible saying Yahweh appeared in a pillar of smoke to the Israelites, and Yahweh being able to be demonstrated today.
