We are to continually see Jesus in the faces(or 'avatars') that we answer.
People are pigheaded though.
The Apostles often were strong in rebuke for heresy that entered into the flock.
We(on this site), as many of us that are able, use scripture to show truth.
Some are set in their ways.
Some are like old wineskins.
When dealing with these types of people it is easy to get emotionally involved.
But as you say, we should just state the truth, and leave it.
As you say, there is no good thing coming from a continual brow beating by both sides.
The truth IS important though (for the readers), so sometimes we overstate our case.
It is a common folly of the soul of mankind.
Not to excuse it, just reality.
God's grace is sufficient for this too.

Standing up for the truth can get you killed, (not on this site); - but that is what the crown of martyrdom is for.
- So the truth IS important to God.

and true, if i speak the truth in Love, and yet people persecute or hate me for it. then thats their choice, Jesus warns about men pleasers, and those that teach doctrines of men, and also those want to please everyone.
i believe all that. but what really troubles me is that we forget that When we are in the family, and have decided to give our lives to Christ we are one, and should be a family, submitting to one another in the FEAR OF GOD, loving each other as the Lord commanded, and not the opposite.
But even in CC they are already groups. I see that, people defend people, and not CHRIST.

Each believer must give an account of their actions to the Lord whether they be good or bad. Many today are like those whom the Lord encountered when He walked on this earth. They have a form of religion but they do not know the Lord. John 5:39 Many are ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. You may see them as tares among the wheat or goats among the sheep but they are everywhere. Men do not reject what they do not understand about God they reject what they understand but have no desire to accept about God.
Let us ponder what the Lord said through Isaiah in 55:6-11.

lets Hope and pray for the salvation of many bro before that day come. Jesus always looks to save as Long as man has breath and is leaving in sin
