Again, regardless of whether you care about the Sabbath or not, Shabbat Shalom!

May you come into God's presence today with humility, awe, reverence and passion for our Living God. May He make Himself real to you in ways you've never experienced. May you rest in Him and that work that He has done for you. May you rest in His Salvation through Yeshua, and may you rest from everything that has hindered you and discouraged you this week.

Rest from your work, Rest in His work, and get ready to have an awesome and anointed week!

Thanks, Matt, you make me feel blessed.
I have worked as hard as I can this week, now I put myself completely in God's care.

That is quite a feat! You do no work for yourself during the week and you work for yourself during the week. Which is it? You can put yourself in God's care, depending on him and work, too, but you can't give your complete self to that care if you are taking responsibility for your self with your work. God said to give it completely over to him. You can't have it both ways.

This sounds like arguing, Crossnote, I'm sorry. I agree with just about everything you think and do, but I would so like you, I and the Lord to see things the same on this! It really feels to me like I'm seeing what God says this time, so much I can say so. It's the Lord's call, neither yours or mine.
 
I thank GOD that every day I do not have to strive and labor to justify myself to GOD through works of law; and can rest through faith in Christ who is resting now from his work on earth, who now sanctifies me through his spirit and keeps me from the works of the flesh every moment of every day. Now instead of having a sign that points me to the one who sanctifies me one day a week, I have that one's spirit always sanctifying me. Reality is so much better than signs.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Exodus 31:13

May all who believe have a blessed, restful sabbath.
 
I thank GOD that every day I do not have to strive and labour to justify myself to mankind or I would be most certainly lost. Thank you for the blessing!

Hopefully I'm mistaken, but that almost seems like a backhanded attempt to correct me in some way or to assume that I have some improper motivation for observing the Sabbath?

Thanks, Matt, for your thread. And I will try to allow all others complete freedom to use this day as each chooses, and concentrate on the Lord this day. It is truly best to not say a thing about other's convictions. I am a work in process.

It is warm out, not hot, and I have a wonderful study of Daniel, along with freezer jam and toast. I am blessed.

(Ideally) I find whatever I do I do as unto Him while resting in His love for me...that's my everyday Sabbath...you can still like me.
