What we can say with accuracy is this, after Jesus' resurrection whenever He met with His disciples and the day is identified, it is NOT the Sabbath, it is the first day of the week!

That's your first post, Zone. That speaks of the sabbath. You just can't handle the competition here.
competition?
i'm not in competition with [gentile] sabbatarians who have deluded themselves into thinking they keep the Law.

my first posts were from an exit ministry for SDAs.

the intent was to look at The First Day of the week.
i didn't expect you or any other judaizers to see anything holy in the first day of the week.

Shiloah, i'm going to open a thread on Judaism.
i'll look forward to your input.

Golly, I know I still feel guilty when I sin, even if I'm saved under grace. That's what leads me to repent and strive under that grace to go and sin no more.
oh it sounds so New Testamenty.

but no dear...you feel your bases are "covered" under the Law.

please contribute to the judaism thread.

Yeah well, I am not sure if you know our walk is a walk of faith and not of law. Being sinners, it's impossible to keep the law. You can observe whatever day you want just don't think you are keeping the law of Moses.
oh don't take that away from them.
they keep Moses because they love Jesus sooooooo much.

Apparently you didn't even read your own post. It said the Jews determined they should keep sabbath by whatever calendar they were at while there. Even they weren't worried about the difference in the time factor. They realized the point was that it was kept on the 7th of the week whenever that was recognized wherever they went, unless they were returning home very soon. Even then, they decided to keep it according to local calendars while they were there.

Hence, the question "what calendar?" has been disqualified.
if you say so hon.
please contribute to the Judaism thread tomorrow.
i'm certain you know enough to fill in the gaps for us.

I feel like being horribly sarcastic crossnote. I'm not sure how many times I've posted that. I'm sure I'll have to post it at least a zillion times more though considering I believe the sabbath commandment is still as important as all the other commandments. Somehow, keeping the sabbath law makes the keeper a person that doesn't believe we're saved by grace to those that don't keep it. Handy excuse and genuine Strawman by your own definition.
pleading grace while "liking" and teaching law.
judaizers.
heresy.

hypocrites.

you no more believe you're saved by grace through faith than fly to the moon.

Actually I typed exactly what was in my heart. It is especially irritating to me to be continually accused of not believing I am saved by grace because I keep a seventh day sabbath.

ROTFLMHO.

i have YET to see you bless one who esteems every day alike.
hypocrite.

I'll sure try not to, since it will be extra hard because I keep the sabbath on the 7th day of the week. lol. There's your sarcasm.
no you don't.
you tweaked the 7th day sabbath to fit your lifestyle and think you are pleasing God.
just like all the rest.

That's best you can do? That's your best defense. You're clearly out of real amo. Throwing nothing at me now but your opinion proves that.

Zone, you've got serious problems. You're a vengeful hateful individual. When your reasons to argue a point have been discredited, the truth comes out. You hate. That's it.

Zone,

I apologize for speaking unkindly to you. I won't address your posts anymore. We don't seem to bring out the best in each other. Again, may we both come to the full knowledge of the truth. And most of all, may God make us both kinder people and more tolerant of other's viewpoints.

Well sit here and talk to yourself then, zone. People are obviously going to come in and debate this since it's about the sabbath. I had no idea I was derailing your post. How stupid of me.
No it's about Sunday, which is not the sabbath.

From the OP, it appears to be some kind of argument in favor of making Sunday, the day of the Sun, more to be revered or marked or set aside and holier than the day commanded by Yeshua, the Father. Is this post about Sunday that?

THE NINE "MORAL" COMMANDS OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS ARE REITERATED in the New Testament:

1). To worship the Lord God only (1st commandment): no less than 50 times
2). Idolatry (2nd commandment): condemned 12 times
3). Profanity (3rd commandment): condemned 4 times
4). Honoring parents (5th commandment) is taught 6 times
5). Murder (6th commandment) condemned 6 times
6). Adultery (7th commandment) condemned 12 times
7). Theft (8th commandment) condemned 4 times
8). False Witness (9th commandment) condemned 4 times
9). Covetousness (10th commandment) condemned 9 times

Why is it that the duty to keep the Seventh day as Sabbath is not mentioned ONCE in the New Testament?

The Sabbath & Sunday
Hebrews 4

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do
The Messiah teaches us to Keep and to Teach even the least of the Commandments.

Those that Love GOD Keep His Commandments.

What does your heart say?

You are searching with your head and not your heart.

Now the doggy takes a bite. I can't believe you 'Mr. Reconciler' took that shot. Your credibility just dropped to a new low. Those assertions are no where found in the OP.
Oh, I guess the Shabbat is over,

What makes you think I am looking for credibility. It is flesh that gives honor to flesh. If we are to be all things to all people I am obligated to go to the level of the people with whom I enteract. If you are looking for your own honor, your own credibility, I am afraid you are missing the entire point of the sharing the Word in spirit and truth.
My post is to the so-called, rather feigned purpose, of the OP because people are being accused of attempting to "derail" the op, when the accusation is really attempting to muzzle the participants.
If you are looking for credibility, I am afraid with your post, you lose it. The idea is to give glory to Yahweh, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I cannot apologize for assuming the level of conversation in a given post. It is the only manner to be understood. I will not resort to hypocrisy, nor will I apologize for posting what is truly on my mind. Keep looking for those splinters.
