I'm wearing a long maxi skirt today. I'm also wearing a top that is in one of my favorite colors. Wearing a long skirt makes me feel feminine and pretty, because 99% of the time I'm wearing pants. I also feel like I could be salsa dancing in this flowy skirt, twirling around and such. Except I don't think I'd be any good at it. :p

what makes you say that? Im sure you'd be good at it. The only ways for a woman to mess it up is to have no rhythm whatsoever or to be fighting your partner as he tries to lead. But you shouldn't talk down about how you might do until you give it a shot.

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life...see that girl, watch that scene, diggin' the dancing queen....

Why? Because that's how my brain works.

That's true, I've never really tried. I have great rhythm. I'm just sort of...clumsy.

As someone who grew up salsa dancing and seeing people of varying natural abilities try it for the first time, I really think you could do it, Rachel.

If you relax, are willing to laugh at yourself, go with the flow, don't over think it, and have fun, you've got everything it takes. Trust me. :D

If we lived near one another, I'd teach you and we'd have a great time. Then I'd partner you up with a nice respectful gentleman who knows how to lead a lady on the dance floor and you'd be good to go :p

I used to dance. Then again, I used to do a lot of things.

So my store manager is being super nice to me. Offering me shifts, understanding about my school schedule… What. The. Heck. I'm officially scared. And my pharmacy manager is angry at me. She's treating me poorly, very curt, very short with me. I have repeated to myself a few times today. I extern in October. I graduate in January. This isn't forever.

Tomorrow I work from 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM, then after that I am driving 6 hours down to visit my sister and some friends for a few days.

But I'm on CC instead of packing. I'll give myself until 10 PM, and if I'm not off by then...someone PM me and tell me to get outta here!

Ten more minutes. Better make the most of them.

I always do my best packing 15 minutes before I have to leave.

My definition is as follows.

Procrastination: being as efficient as possible in a small amount of time.

When put that way, it sounds like a great skill. :D

I packed as much as I could. Some things just have to be packed at the last minute, like my toothbrush and contact case and such.

And now I'm procrastinating getting to bed, considering my day of work and driving tomorrow. Driving by myself actually doesn't bother me, I like having the time to myself to sing and think. I get weird looks sometimes because I...get into my music at times. :D Depending on what I'm listening to, I'll dance a little, act all fly and gangsta like, cry if a song hits a nerve, etc.

Is it my turn to wish you safety? May you fly down the freeway, highway, or interstate at a rate of speed that feels comfortable to you.

But here's a tip.

Should you be driving down the freeway going 93 miles an hour and the Highway Patrol pull you over, don't have this conversation with the officer.

Officer: "Do you know how fast you were going?"

Me: "Nope. Why don't you tell me."

Officer: "You were going 93 miles an hour."

Me: "Woooooo fast."

Officer: "Why were you going so fast?"

I used to commute. I was driving at 9pm, exhausted and in a bad mood, coming from working a 14 hour day.

Me: "Haven't you ever just wanted to get home?"

The officer narrowed his eyes and said, "Oh, yeah. I get it." Then he wrote me a huge ticket.

Don't anger the po po; just don't do it.
